Try Emerson (or Porro) at LWB. At least that gives us 2 wing backs who will look to get forward with the ball.

If it has to be 343

Forster
Romero Dier Davies
Porro Hojbjerg Sarr Royal
Kulusevski Kane Danjuma
If Porro and Emerson can get far enough forward, I would like to see Kulusevski in behind Kane and Richarlison. I think that would give players a bit more space

Kane Richy

We look like creating nothing through the middle currently so our best bet is going wide to the two best crossers of the ball and have two CFs in there. Time for Kulu and Son to sit on the bench.

Time for Son to come out.

Forster

Romero
Dier
Davies

Emerson
PEH
Sarr
Danjuma

Kulu
Kane
Richarlison
I like that...would be interesting to see Danjuma on the left and agree on Son...will never happen though. Exact same team as tonight with PEH in and maybe Davies for Lenglet but that's it...sigh.

West Ham fans will be licking their lips watching us at the weekend and tonight. I know because 2 of my best mates are Spammers and they are giving me all kinds of shit on Whatsapp.

Time for Son to be dropped (again). I'd also like to see Perisic given a break, but Sess is bloody injured as well.

Option 1:

Forster
Romero - Sanchez - Davies
Porro - Sarr - PEH - Perisic
Deki - Kane - Danjuma

Option 2:

Forster
Romero - Sanchez - Davies
Porro - Sarr - PEH - Perisic
Deki
Kane - Richy

In an ideal world, I would like us to dispense with the 3 at the back, but can't see it happening.

Can't see Dier being dropped for Sanchez no matter how low it gets.

I’d rest Perisic & Son:

———————Forster
———Romero—Dier—Davies
Porro——Hojbjerg—Sarr——Emerson
——Kulusevski—Kane—Richarlison

Subs: Austin, Perisic, Sánchez, Lenglet, Skipp, Danjuma, Son, Lucas, Devine

Here is what I would try:

Forster
Romero Dier Lenglet
Porro Hojbjerg Sarr Davies
Kulusevski Kane Richarlison

Davies can’t play LB in a back 4, but he might be able to get by as a defensive Wingback, and Perisic can come in late if necessary. So slightly unbalanced with Davies sitting deeper and Porro laying higher on the other side.

Davies can’t play Left Back in a back 4.
you must be a recent convert to football and missed about 6 years of his Spurs career then to come up with that conclusion
