I think they both started the season incredibly well. It'll be interesting when Bentaleb is back, 4 or 5 above average CM's all fighting for two spaces. Very nice!

Their likely line-up will be one of the weakest we will play in the premier league, for a long time.

All their decent players are out and their side is littered with has been's and championship players.

3 points is a must tbh, another draw would be wank.

TBH if everyone saw him playing for the U17's they would know how good he is. Whereas everyone has seen videos of Edwards and hyping him up, had they seen Onomah, people would be raving about him just as much

I'd love us to go with a 4-3-3, or a diamond, or just something different, but it will be 4-2-3-1. So given that:

I'd consider playing Townsend as an orthodox left winger, but that would probably be too great a change to how the side currently sets up with inverted wide men all day long.

Fingers crossed Mason makes the bench - thinks that's the best we can hope for.

I know most people will go for Njie on the left, but I'd push Dembele up here and he could slot in to make a three at times to give us more control - they'll be bang up for this despite the fact they have injury problems as welll.

Think Njie might be better as a bench option for this one.

If Mason's back and can start I'd push Alli up there instead of Dembele. If not I certainly wouldn't be adverse to sticking Onomah in the 10 position. Otherwise the team pretty much picks itself at the moment.

I'm not convinced Alli is a holding midfielder and Dembele did well last week. Also I think Kane needs taking out of the firing line for a little while, he'll come good but is trying too hard. I'd go with a slightly changed set up

As long as Dier & Dembele aren't a CM pairing I'm happy. Both fine players, but it's not a good blend. I pray Mason is back, his dynamism is really missed but I suspect it's a week too soon. I like Moose further forward, it adds to our pressing game as he bullies the opposition further up the pitch

It's this kind of attitude that has seen as undone sooo many times over the years. Hoping last night will have lit the fire in Poch belly that he must not allow the players to think that all they need to do is turn up to get the win.

At WHL I'd agree, but away from home? No chance, they'll come on to us so we'll have the space to drive forward and Dembele can do that to great affect.

Its at home when the lower half teams come and sit deep - that's the problem when selecting Dembele.

The thing is Onomah isn't a LW or any type of winger. He needs to be in the middle so that he can impact the game. He is similar to Pogba but he his best asset is the ability to find through balls. If you want a winger, there isn't anyone at the club or currently in the youth team who is near ready

We don't play with wingers anyway.
