Even if Aurier is fit I’d play Marcel Lavinier at RB and Tanganga at LB. I don’t like Doherty in a four ( not overly impressed as a Spurs RWB yet either )- The lad is 20 and had a solid career at the chelsea academy , let’s see what he’s made of. Why put him in the EL squad otherwise?

Sons fitness is an interesting one. I was surprised to see in the Amazon doc that he still does regular extra training with his father. Surprised the club at happy with that if I'm honest.

Not sure why this got a thumbs down. I'm all for youngsters getting a go but there's a difference between us armchair pundits chucking him in and the manager having more of an idea what the lad can do.

Hope we're playing 'Pellets' and not 'Pallets.
'Pallets' have a stronger defence certainly but can be easily dismantled
but 'Pellets' have a much more scattergun approach.

In Austria you can have the name of your main sponsor in the club's name but not in Europa League oder Champions League (Red Bull Salzburg in CL is "FC Salzburg"). So in Austria, the club's name is "RZ Pellets Wolfsberger AC".

Obviously you mean west ham, not villa, but I think they are one of 5 or so 'direct rivals for top 4 and we are one of the outsiders

The return leg isn't even a return leg, as such, as this away leg is an away game for both teams, since it's being played at a neutral ground in a neutral country

Great to see Cirkin getting some experience. Ive heard very good things about him and would love for him to find his way in to the 1st team reckoning if nothing else than to finally get rid of Ben Davies who at this point is a nothing player. Not good at defending, never has been good at attacking so he offers us nothing but a body to fill a shirt.

Given how smart and strategic we're going to need to be in the next few transfer windows, I hope we'll see more academy players getting a run out, on the off-chance a few of them make the grade and solve some first team problems for free
