I don’t want any ‘could be good players’ or ‘can’t do any worse’

A must is a top top centre Back forget anything else we need this sorting. If it cost £60m it needs sorting.

Gk Lloris Hart Whitman

RB happy if Tanganga plays there. New one

CB Rodon, Toby and Sanchez plus new one

LB sess Reggie

CM Skipp Hojbjerg Ndombele LoCelso

ATT Kane Dele Son Bale Bergwijn one more

Buy another RB. If any spare money buy another FW

Sell
Davies, Aurier, Doherty, Sissoko, Winks, Lucas, Lamela and Dier

Gives you a 18 outfield players, plus I’d have Scarlett, Clark and Devine in there for development.

Obviously this changes if Kane goes.

Very similar to my thoughts on this. I would personally look to bring Foyth back as the additional RB, as he can also play CB.

I would also definitely bring in another FW to rotate with Kane.

Dele goes for no more than £40m. The Villa match really neutralised any positives he had gained from the match before.

I don't think there's a hope of getting close to £40m for Dele.

£25m... maybe.

In reality our departures could look something like:

Kane - £100m
Alli - £25m
Aurier - £16m
Lamela - £10m
Winks - £15m
Foyth - £15m (although I think it could be worth letting him stay...)
Doherty - £15m
Dier - £20m
Alderweireld - £11m
Gazzaniga - £2m
Moura - £20m
Sissoko - £10m

That would be £259M.

Add in Ndombele, and it would be in the region of £300M.

Could do quite a handsome squad rebuild with that.

There is zero chance of Kane going for £100m IMO, Levy will want much closer to £150m. Without COVID i'm sure Levy will do the same as with Bale and want a world record fee.

Otherwise agree.

Kane will go for more and I reckon the British bonus will eek out £5m each from the sales of Winks and Dele. Aurier will be more like 10, Lamela 5, Toby 5, Sissoko 5 and Moura 10. Gazza is out of contract this summer too.

I find it really weird when people correct someone's figures that they have no idea about, with other figures that they have no idea about.

I know it's all in our heads atm, i just don't think that some of our players are worth very much.

If we don't have any European football next season it does give us the opportunity to cull a fair bit of the current squad without needing to replace them all. Build the nucleus of a new team and then strengthen it the following summer if we're back in Europe again.

We need at least one CB regardless, and possibly a RB depending on the new manager's preferred formation. The list of players I wouldn't sell if an offer comes in is depressingly short.

I just don't have a lot of faith the club won't dither about in terms of trying to squeeze deals and leave us going into next season without the overhaul we need.

I think a lack of european football could do a couple of things, which haven't been discussed much in terms of chasing new players.

One, it takes the pressure off, less games, less competition.

Then two, look at Chelsea under the transfer ban, loaned players came back in, youngsters given a chance, it was the start of the development of some of their key players now.

Could both be positive factors.

If there's a club willing to pay £20m for Dier, we should make that club our best friend ?

I'd be tempted to switch to a midfield 3, drop the dedicated number 10 and bring in someone like Ward Prowse from Southampton for the right central midfield role, Skipp/PEH the anchor in the middle and then Ndombele/Lo Celso for the left side cm, depending if we keep/sell either of those two.

We need someone in midfield who can pick a pass and also be a set piece threat if we're losing Kane, we'll have to do better and score more from set pieces.

We also need to not screw ourselves over with the homegrown issue so someone as unspectacular as ward prowse (and also having skipp back) I feel would really improve us in the middle of the park where we are shocking right now.

It's really unacceptable that over 100m in 2 players in midfield and they're not ever not in danger of being dropped for Sissoko and Winks!

Campaña was rumoured to be off to Atletico but they were skint on money. He's been out injured most of the season and will only have 2 years left on his contractor, this summer. He could probably be had for cheap. I know he didn't work out at Palace but I think it was just the wrong fit/time for him. We can't afford to take punts but if he's available end of window for a reasonable fee and we've not signed anyone else, I'd be happy with him.

If the worst happens and Kane does go, I really don’t understand the appeal for Ings to replace him, yes he’s pretty good but in no way a replacement plus he’s 29 in the summer and aging.

Marcus Thuram at Monchengladbach, he’s very good 23 and a potential world beater up front.
I don't think we'd be in the running for Ings but I think he'd be a good option, he's a cracking good striker and doing it in the Premier League. I'm also hopeful we've got a replacement in the academy in Dane Scarlett who has enormous potential and could well be ready in a couple or three years.

If we sell kane I want dcl and grealish
Two injury prone players, one who has been inconsistent for Everton, the other who spends half his life on the floor, embarrassed himself during Covid and has a driving ban for being a prize tit.. no thanks. Grealish is another Lee Hendrie.

Grealish would comfortably be one of our best players. If that means anything these days.

There is zero chance of Kane being sold for straight cash. Nobody can afford him and we need players, so it will be an exchange plus cash deal.
