Interesting to see Kyerematen at LB as I think that is our weakest position at both U18 and U21. Think that might be a good move for him considering our options at CM. I've always been impressed with him and feel he goes under the radar a bit.

He played really well there against Wolves last time out, and I think playing the inverted role enables him to perform better at LB rather than being a normal LB as he is a CM. I've always liked Rio, he lad works really hard, has good ability on the ball and has an eye for goal. He could have a similar impact Leo Black has had at RB for the u18s, who was also a CM.

Donley hasn’t had much of the ball really but he is levels above isn’t he. Very reminiscent of Kane in style.

I like Gunter

Lots more space now. Reckon we’ll win this after weathering some pressure through the game

I always root for Sam, he never gives up always maintains a great attitude. Would love to see him go far in management.
He's always had a tremendous attitude. Sam was one of the last in his group to get a scholarship, despite being U16 captain. He was well below the standard of his peers technically and athletically but he was so smart, such a good leader and had such a great work ethic that they squeezed him in. I think it was clear pretty early on that he wasn't going to have career in the professional game but there's no doubt in my mind they saw a future manager in him. The only bad thing I can say about him is that he's a Gooner.

Wish Football.London would use some expression other than "wonderkid" , so many of the previous ones never made it to the 1st team squad.

Is there any reason why we all seem to be completely ignoring Matthew Craig’s loan spell at Doncaster? Sounds like he’s doing well and has carved out a First team spot:

What are other youth watchers opinions on him? The few times I've seen him play, he looked very mobile, good passing range and committed in the tackle. Would love for us to have another CM/DM breakthrough, especially one that is willing to do the "water carrier" role for us. Would also help with our HG issues.

Is a little bit of the hesitation about him due to the level of the loan we were able to secure him do you think? Sounds like he has done brilliantly though and he can only do that wherever we send him.

I imagine he might get a chance to impress in pre-season. Worst case, another loan hopefully in a more challenging league and take it from there. We really need a DM and though I'm not banking on Craig being the answer, would be a nice surprise if he makes the grade.

He’s a player all the other boys love to have in the side. Does all the dirty work which allows the others to showcase their skills. Contracted until 2026 imagine he’ll move up to league 1 loan next season maybe with six month break clause incase of Championship deserving form for second half of season.

Was at U21 game on Sat few bits

- Was the United U18s we played. After winning the Northern section they were given the opportunity to play up and fair play they completely held their own against our very good 21s.

- Mikey not involved for either U21s or U18s having trained Mon-Fri with first team given weekend off.

- Rio as inverted LB an interesting one and hopefully we continue to explore it until end of season. Lost his place in CM to Tyrese.

- Gunter was absolutely superb. I think we need to get him out on loan next season with Keeley and have one of Austin or Whiteman playing for 21s to keep match ready especially if going to stay to count towards club trained numbers in Europe.

- Donley - The 1st time pass &
sprint and the dink to yago. It’s absolutely unreal direct aggressive play. The chip finish wasn’t bad either. Has to go to league 1 next season for his first loan again maybe with six month break clause.
