I feel like 4-2-3-1 has become so default now too. It's really not suited to us when you have Dier and Dembele in midfield.

Strange how you mention Dembele but not Dier who has been trash as well.

Dier has also been poor, I wouldn't be opposed to Poch changing the entire central midfield up but I'd be shocked if it happened. Dembele has been the most egregious offender.

Yep, Lamela would work as well. Need to change something, play like that again second half and we will be in for a very nervy end to the season

Maybe I'm just being optimistic but I'd hope our scouting is based on more then one half and football and a FIFA career mode

That was good from Tripps - demanded Dier come over and cover and didn't allow himself to be suck away from the ball. Good block too.

This is one of the many problems with our CM's, especially Dier, he just doesn't think like a proper footballing CM.

Like Neville but he's got that very very wrong. Sanchez has been isolated not his fault his CM loses an easy pass and he then has to decide whether to step up or drop.

The defence is getting exposed by those in front of them.

This kane slump is baffling. Poch brings players back from injury so slow its frustrating for us fans to understand. So kane must be fit. Poch is all about the collective. There is no way he has one rule for kane and one rule for the rest.
