Slight overreaction. We look like a side who’s been knocked out of two competitions in the last few weeks and low on confidence.

My biggest worry is Kane. He needs to snap out of this rut sharpish. Carries this in to the World Cup and the abuse will be merciless. He looks slow and ponderous.

Dier has also been poor, I wouldn't be opposed to Poch changing the entire central midfield up but I'd be shocked if it happened. Dembele has been the most egregious offender.

I've never been happy with our midfield at any point under Poch. He's never found the right balance. Wanyama and Dembele was the closest we've had, but that was flawed.

I don't think he even sees it as a problem if i'm honest. Just expecting a half arsed attempt to bring in a squad player there this summer.

I don't know why Eriksen isn't utilised deeper more often, plonk him alongside Dier or Dembele and let him tick things along, get Lamela or Lucas in the 3 behind Kane and we gain some control.

These recent Dembele performances are the type I think many of us have feared for months. Sad but if he and Poch think he can't do it anymore, he should go in summer. Completely different man who was destroying all comers for breakfast in February

What a fucking shower of shite that was. Dier, Dembele, Son, Kane, Alli are like cack footed turtles at a fucking windsock convention. We would be losing that game if Watford's finishing was better and their keeper hadn't gifted us a goal.

I just don't get Poch, Son's been tripping over the fucking thing for the last two games, but the much fresher Lamela sits and watches. People on here give Lukaku shit for his game play but Kane's been making Lukaku look like an energetic Ibra lately.

Why? When he played recently we were as assured as we've looked in a month. He's still a part of the squad and we need an injection of stability. Can't go planning for next season when the job is not yet done this season.

Very poor first half from Son. Starting to annoy me just how often he's slipping over. Every game. Choose the correct footwear ffs. No excuse for not knowing what boots to wear at home

He's not on his toes half the time. Needs too many touches or is stood flat and then either takes a heavy touch or gets it stuck under his feet.

Poch is very slow at changing things. Needs to be more positive. Being unsure spreads to the players, I bet any changes 10 mins to go.

I agree that Toby would be useful but he should come on Dembele IMO. The problem is that we've gifted them a half-dozen dangerous situations with complete carelessness in central midfield. Eriksen and Dele would take better care of the ball.

Alli is another candidate for giving the ball away.

Our performances do tend to drop off at the end of the season tho, as well as been sluggish through august.
