Again, we go backwards and then lose it. What the hell is going on.

we’re playing well and i’m enjoying it but you can’t help but notice we’re missing a target man up front

Can't remember a game where we nicked the ball back so many times. Very promising whatever happens today.

I feel like I must've been watching a different game with all the stick Dele is getting. He is clearly on the left of a midfield three, instructed to stay back with only the front three having a license to attack
Yep, I think we need to appreciate he's playing a different role to the breaking-into-the-box Dele of Pochettino 1.0

It's probably not his favourite position, and nor is he probably the best player to fill it, but he's sticking to it and we shouldn't judge him on a lack of forward runs.

When does he get his license to pass or tackle?
City have mostly been attacking down their left flank, opposite side of Dele. I think he's mostly stuck to his position on our left side which is why the game has passed him by a bit. But he is clearly asked to stick to his position and I think whenever he's been called into action he's done quite well. If he was drifting out of position he'd be giving City an outlet they otherwise wouldn't have.

Had a good tackle that lead to a nice attack at the start of this half though
