Last time we scored first and early against them we won 4-1. In every game since then, they've scored first but we've grown into the game and fallen short of either a point or all 3 by fine margins. We could/should have won the last 2 times we've been to Anfield even though they scored first.

I just don't like the thoughts of scoring early no basis behind it really I just hate the feeling of clinging on to a 1-0, I feel like we would go very defensive, just the paranoia of a anxious man.

Not really whining here, but I will say that there is a definite current in media and among neutral fans too that Liverpool is on the level of Real Madrid, and Tottenham not even on the level of Atletico Madrid. The mental concept is that Liverpool is a huge club and Tottenham simply is not, I cannot help thinking that that specific idea of what the correct equilibrium is will aid us.
