Just seen the line up.

:mad::mad:

Very risky Poch. Very risky.

Edit. Post match. Hmmm. Huddersfield also rested players and were just shit. They had nothing. We played well but it was like a training match fortunately. Great result. Good to see Wanyama play well and get a good goal. Moura and Foyth were excellent. Wholesale changes worry me though.

I'll reserve my desolation until I see how we perform, but I'm worried this is going to be a struggle.

If Winks is more than a precaution then I'm a bit worried about the rest of our season. It's shaping up to be a serious fight.

Think he had to rest Son today given our entire season now rests on his shoulders. Cannot believe our injury record this season, just praying Dele is back for City game.
You could see this happening when our blokes didn't get any rest during last summer. This is on the club for not getting players in.

I just hope Poch fires a rocket under Lucas and Llorente today. With the injuries we have they potentially have the chance to play some massive games for us for the rest of the season, and I hope he's let them know in no uncertain terms that they need to play with a bit of vim today if they want a piece of that opportunity.

Wouldn't be surprised if Huddersfield are fucking motivated by our lack of respect for them... Would be surprised if there coach didn't use that.
My thoughts exactly.
Id be over the moon if I was a Huddersfield player. A chance to be the first team to take points off Spurs in the new stadium.
This game is more important than Man City imo. We are not gonna win CL especially without Kane.
To fuck up here would be a disaster.
Just pray it works out.

No Kane - no problem
No Son - well, he can come on as a sub
No Dele - hmm...
No Winks - we don't need no stinking MFs
No Dier - stupid appendectomy ruined his season
No Lamela - he's a bad hombre, and only plays with his left foot anyway
No Alderweireld - he's off in the summer, might as well get used to it
No Rose - Can't play 3 times in a week
No Trippier - ok, we got lucky with that one (jk...)

In SISSOKO we trust!!

If Eriksen is not on it, we are well and truly fucked.
This. But hard when you only have Llorente and Lucas around you, who can actually do something.

I just don't get the change from 4231 to 3ATB again from Poch. He will get questioned if he doesn't get this right. And that is a really poor starting 11 offensively against a team that's already relegated.

So many injuries to key players. I hope Alli and Winks are back for City.

This line up doesn’t make me feel confident. We’ve opened the door to Huddersfield. And we only have one player on the bench to turn to.

I am sure you would be more confident if we were playing a championship team....ohh wait they are a championship team.

Bit too defensive for my liking but if the fullbacks play like wingers we might be ok

The full-back profile was markedly different at that point though, with Kyle Walker and a fit-and-on-top-of-his-game Danny Rose providing lightning pace on both flanks.

Yep but 3cb's isn't necessarily negative which was my point, depends on how far up the wing backs play.

Did he just say for 14 of the last 16 games we haven't scored in the first half?! I knew that record was poor but not that poor.

Would rather we weren't playing 3 CBs at home against the worst team in Europe.

It's a strange game, because in terms of our long-term strategy we should be playing a strong team here to give us the best chance of CL next season.

Am I alone or is Ledley looking very credible as a pundit? He has a special place in my heart as one of my lifetime's legends, but I never thought of him as someone who could take on that kind of role, but he's actually very engaging. Is it just me?

That's an ugly line up for a home game against the poorest side in the league. I wonder if we'll have tons of pointless possession, or if they'll have more of the ball because we can't hold on to it.
