I don't know why people are surprised by this. Arsenal have been shown favouritism, outright cheated and got up to any and all sorts of dodgy dealings during pretty much their entire history.

It's a club built on it.

Totally!!!

Was expecting you to say calm down dears...there's no conspiracy against wee Tottenham lol ?

Pure conjecture but I bet all the players who "picked up a knock" in the Liverpool match would've magically recovered had our game not been postponed. :cautious:

I know there is concern about fixture pile up but surely we can play our games in european game weeks now we are out of the europa conference?

Our postponed games are against teams that aren't in Europe (Assuming the Leicester game goes ahead this week).

We'll still have home advantage going into the postponed fixture, now under lights. They'll be much stronger but hopefully we will too, and be in better form going in to it.

As a club will Levy have a say on when the rearranged fixture is to be. If like Rennes we cannot accommodate it then will arsenal forfeit the game?

The only problem for me, and a couple of other supporters I know, is that mid week games are a nightmare for some who don’t live in London with early-ish last trains.

Quite a strong statement here

I know that’s probably the extent of what they can say without opening themselves up to legal trouble but it still doesn’t feel enough. There is no justification for this game to be suspended, it makes a mockery of the fans, the league, the sport and everyone around the globe suffering and dying from Covid every single day. It’s inexcusable to take advantage of a rule put in place purely to protect individuals suffering from an unrelenting world wide pandemic and everyone associated with ether Arsenal or the Premier League should be ashamed. I find it incredibly dispiriting that those who should be working together to uphold what little integrity this sport has left are so unscrupulous in their actions and clearly have no care for anyone but themselves. A dark day for football indeed and I can only hope that the repercussions will bring about some form of change. I doubt however that it will.

How is it self inflicted?
By them, not us he means. The thing that really stings is Arsenal received two walkovers against Norwich and Leeds when both were ravaged by Covid and missing numerous first team players now they are crying foul when they are in the same position.

The bit that I'll be honest I'm letting irritate me more than I should is the Arsenal fans with their reaction to the Liverpool situation vs this one, I've never known a fanbase who can get the result they want and still play the victim quite like them. Claiming they're being chastised and absolving themselves of all responsibility by saying well other clubs have had dodgy postponements, as if their club isn't responsible for it's own actions. Nobody has taken advantage of the rules in the way Arsenal have and teams that were denied postponements like Chelsea and Leeds, teams like us that have had to forfeit games and now have even more of a backlog have the right to feel aggrieved.

Premier league are a disgrace. Whilst I am angry how this has affected us. Teams this season have been forces to play in far worse situations that were 100% out of their control.

As for Arsenal, they call us bottle jobs but they have actually asked to postponed the game the absoloute shithouses thay they are.

The fact they haven't balanced their squad to cover the international players leaving, their fault. The fact their players have the worst discipline in the league, their fault. The injuries are shady for me and there is no way of proving it but I bet they would have played had the game been on.

We cannot let them forget this, every gunner is a runner.

It's a dangerous precedent, postponment due to not having enough players due to Covid I understand but postponement because of injuries, suspensions, players on loan and players at the AFCON doesn't seem right

… this kind of decision is similar to what governments do: implement decisions and folk at ground level suffer…

I wouldn't say there's a conspiracy against Spurs specifically, not over over a hundred years, that's some serious illuminati shit, but the scum have had far too many of these.

They are a rotten club by any measure.

And people on here hate Chelsea more? Sort yourselves out :playful:

We get food poisoning and we end up missing out on the top 4 because we have to play and Arse get this treatment. Quite shocking really.
