The bit that I'll be honest I'm letting irritate me more than I should is the Arsenal fans with their reaction to the Liverpool situation vs this one, I've never known a fanbase who can get the result they want and still play the victim quite like them. Claiming they're being chastised and absolving themselves of all responsibility by saying well other clubs have had dodgy postponements, as if their club isn't responsible for it's own actions. Nobody has taken advantage of the rules in the way Arsenal have and teams that were denied postponements like Chelsea and Leeds, teams like us that have had to forfeit games and now have even more of a backlog have the right to feel aggrieved.
Them and Liverpool fans are an entirely different breed, honestly. They're both genuinely of the belief that some sort of agenda exists against them and when stuff like this happens you won't hear a word beyond a bunch of children trolling on the internet. It's just unfathomable how an entire fanbase of millions of people can be so collectively thick.

Following Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Blues boss Tuchel was probed about the decision and responded in a typically forthright nature.

Thomas Tuchel: "It's much better for me not to answer the question. Much, much better."

I wouldn't say there's a conspiracy against Spurs specifically, not over over a hundred years, that's some serious illuminati shit, but the scum have had far too many of these.

They are a rotten club by any measure.

And people on here hate Chelsea more? Sort yourselves out :playful:

Yeah agree mate. And they'll always be top of my list for dislike.

Well when we have an injury crisis I hope we remember to ask for postponement and bring this up when arguing our case

By them, not us he means. The thing that really stings is Arsenal received two walkovers against Norwich and Leeds when both were ravaged by Covid and missing numerous first team players now they are crying foul when they are in the same position.
Oh ok. The poster is usually so negative toward spurs I thought they were again

People will say every fanbase has them and what not and to an extent but I find that Arsenal and Liverpools social media culture has created a tribal attitude of absolute knuckle draggers which really stands out from the rest.

Thanks ? Sorry I couldn't remember if it was announced in time for him to even be asked about it but thinking back it definitely was!

The fact that they loaned out top tier players when they knew they already had players away at the afcon should have automatically made their request for postponement null and void.

The Premier League are making a rod for their own backs. This really sucks.

Complete joke of a decision and the game should've gone ahead, but I suppose there are a few positives to take away from it:

- More time to rest/prepare for the Leicester match (Leicester don't have a game this weekend)
- We will hopefully have Dier, Reguilon, Romero and Son back when it is rescheduled. Those 4 are arguably more important to us than the Arsenal players out are to them.
- New signings will get an extra match (if we sign anyone)
- Morale is a bit low after the Chelsea losses - we might be in a better place when it's rescheduled.
