Things have definitely changed over the years. Remember when we had a FA Cup 3rd round game at Old Trafford and no recognised strikers so Neale Fenn and Rory Allen had to play?

The fact that they loaned out top tier players when the know they already had players away at the afcon should have automatically made their request for postponement null and void.

The Premier League are making a rod for their own backs. This really sucks.
They also played a U23 game last night.

An arsenal fan on here, but each to their own if you’re fine with it
Wait, what?
You're accusing Yank of being a Gooner?!
Now Hank may be many, many things but what's pretty bloody obvious is that hes a passionate Yid.

edit. I think you may have totally misunderstood his post, tbf.

Lets go through the looking glass after today's matches......

***Massive fucking disclaimer right here - the following scenario has a probability value of very nearly zero***

The discrepancy between the amount of matches clubs have played leaves us with the possible scenario of beating Chelsea next weekend (lol), winning our four games in hand (lol) and subsequently being 5 points ahead of them (massive lol).

That's why the competition is damaged by these postponements. No one knows where they truly stand.

Still seething, wankers.
So lets do something about it then. Let's kick up a media storm. Allegedly, we succeeded with #No To Gatusso so why can't we do the same to highlight the FA's incompetence. Hell, even the pundits are against the decision - surely we should make the most of this opportunity. Someone more savvy than me must be able to come up with a cutting hashtag to denounce the pathetic attempts by Arsenal to abuse the Covid situation and claim that as a result of their 'Covid-hit squad' they are unable to field a team to competitively challenge the might Spurs. Let's put pressure on the b******s - Arsenal and the FA to see if we can make a difference. The least it will do is to give the fans a chance to vent their anger publicly and who knows, perhaps in some parallel universe it will galvanise someone in authority to purposefully undermine the FA's totally biased approach to 'fair play'. Where are the whistle blowers when we want them? There are plenty associated with the government - there must be some at the FA who know how bent they are. Let's give them an opportunity!

Also, if the PL don't get this sorted out soon they are going to have clubs going into the last few weeks of the season gaming the system so that they get a match postponed in order that they play after their rival for (eg) fourth place and so know what result they need.

This is going to be a clusterfuck.

Well when we have an injury crisis I hope we remember to ask for postponement and bring this up when arguing our case

Remember? I expect clubs to just close their training ground and point to x amount of knocks whenever they could use a breather.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I think if I punch this into my Hank translator he’s saying that in relation to our statement about how we are disappointed it’s been called off, citing reasons. ‘shit’ as in, keep talking that good shit Spurs, you beauties.

misunderstood by someone else

How is it self inflicted?
Well Arsenal let players go out on loan and knew they were having pool of players at the African cup of nations, all during a pandemic. Arsenal have a responsibility to keep a squad of sufficient numbers, which they have not done. The game shouldn’t have been called off, but as I say thats self inflicted and Arsenal’s own fault.

Sorry, I miss read your post. Due to your continued negativity towards spurs, I thought you were going to have another dig at Levy ?.
