This fucking dreary drumming and chanting is doing my head in. Sounds like Mordor marching to war.

There you go.

Brilliant goal.

Patient, probing, efficient.

That's how we should always play.

And THAT is how you play OFF of Llorente. And that is also why he has been ineffective. Our forward players are not imaginative enough with their movement. When they are his skill and experience will show.

Of course, playing Apoel. Much more easier than the EPL.

That's the thing, it's hard to properly judge or compare to PL performances, but I was going to say that's it's quite nice to watch us play with players who want to prove something. The energetic Son, hard working N'koudou and Llorente working well to get a goal. This as opposed to watching us labour and play the ball slowly from side to side and having Alli and Eriksen just kind of pondering about the pitch.

Of course, the flip side is that even with the team that's looked so slow an ponderous for us in the league, they may still look sparkling against this opposition. But it's still refreshing to just see some new blood out there.

And that's a fantastic goal from Son.

These players stepping up are so important. Some of then might even just become regulars. Hope Poch really have what it takes to drop those first XI if needed. This will really keep the squad sharp and competitive.
