BBC 5Live wanted their CL radio commentary from tonight's game at Anfield, but Liverpool refused: - apparently the scousers were pretty miffed that the BBC twice chose Spurs over them for live commentary Vs Dortmund and then Real Madrid.

This is just the Beeb trying to get back in their good books.

In Ireland we were blessed for the RM game at Wembley but normal service has resumed and it's wall to wall Man United and Liverpool ad infinitum.

People forget we had to name 36 players for games today due to the Academy CL game - which was a match that we had to win to go through to next round.

Not easy decision for Poch to make when he also wants to rest the likes of Hugo, Eriksen, Kane etc.

Poch's whole ethos is about rewarding players who train well with match time. Irrespective of age or reputation. If KWP wants to start ahead of Aurier or Rose then he needs to earn it on the training pitch. Poch says players are paid to train and that the bonus is playing competitive games, and I really like that approach.

OK, fine, but also, you shouldn't have en "ethos" that involves seeing a player handle a debut like Walker-Peters did, and then never use said player again. Counter productive is just the first letter I'd use to describe that.
