Exactly the same don’t know why but just have a feeling it’s kind of meant to be this year, getting out of that group, last min goal vs Barca, the offside decision vs Man City, Ajax hitting the post last night to go 2-0 up with 2nd away goal... is it written in the stars? IF we can turn this around to get to the final then it’s just a one off game and anything can happen. No chance over 2 legs that we beat messi playing like this but catch him and Barca on and off day and who knows... just need a miracle to get past Ajax now.

It's weird watching Messi destroy Liverpool whilst feeling as though i'd rather we play Barca if we got through.

I guess it's just because I couldn't deal with us losing to Liverpool in the final.

What we really need at Bournemouth is an injury to Rose, and for Jan to be selected at LWB for the return leg.

Final in Madrid so locals will be with us. Poch ex Espanyol so has something to prove against local rivals Barca.
Barca coach Valverde was Espanyol coach who moved Poch on from the club as a player.
It’s all there for us to do it.

Yea but I see what you mean, I think with Barca they and messi can have an off day but with lpool they are like our kryptonite and have only lost one game all season to prem teams so I’d also be more confident playing Barca.

I would like to play Barca in the final. At the start of the season I had a vision of winning the champions league and beating Barca in the final. I suppose it is because you know someone has to beat Messi at some point to win, and you'll never do it over two legs. There is no shame to lose to them either, and it always feel wrong to play a british team in europe. Liverpool played much better than we did tonight though and will rightly feel aggrieved to be 3 down.
