This guy has been on the crack-pipe again, he was watching a diff game to us lot.

can handle losing to Chelscum and Liverpool but to a mid table average team like the Spuds, it just not on.

Jesus Christ, reading some of their posts, it makes you realise. There are actually REAL people that support West Ham. Go to their games, know the players names and get all upset at losing.

Who would do that to themselves?

I've always said the West Ham Fans have got more class than the arse or chelsea fans and today they showed a bit of it.
Just after Half time when we were a bit quiet they started singing at us in the Park Lane "You're shit if it ain't four nil".

They made more noise today than any other london clubs have (hey always do) and even though some of them left a little early the vast majority were still there when the third goal went in, contrast that with a complete empty section after 60 minutes against the arse.

Well I expect they're still pleased to be in the position they are. Unlike Fulham, or Arsenal when we beat them, they didnt really have anything to lose. Singing 'we're gonna lose 4-0' just screams small-time to me. Not loyalty.

They're still a cut above the rest and always have been, Spurs and West Ham fans have always been better.

I can't think that leaving 30 minutes before the end and leaving wembley before your team has even got their medals is big time it's just crap.

We played well, lots of good performances everywhere.

It was good to see Thudd playing the advanced midfield role and even better to see him create two goals and countless other attempts and basically run the show. If there were any doubt over his new advanced role check this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/2008/03/10/sfgtot110.xml and select density from the menu on the left. It's interesting in as much it shows where the players actually played, with, for instance, Hutton spending more time in attack than defence. Huddlestone spent 50% in offence, 44% midfield and 6% defence. DZ spent 11% defence, 72% midfield and 17% offence, Tainio 13% defence, 60% midfield, 27% offence.

I think that from here on Thudd should be utilised primarily in this way, spelling JJ when he needs a break. Tainio, O'Hara and DZ sholuld rotate at DM but we should look for a serious DM to come in and challenge DZ for his first team place in the transfer window.

Great result. Thought Curbishley took it like the knob he is, making some backhanded comment about Berba diving in his MOTD interview. There's 2 ways to take defeat I guess Alan....

massively enjoyable - it was also on football first which was nice- listening to un'appy 'ammer presenter matt lorenzo added a bit more enjoyment

berbs a magician MOTM - but Hutton & Hudd ran him close - what a player hutton is - I honestly think we'd have had a great chance of UEFA Cup bar his ineligibility

oh and BTW our first goal from a big punt up to Berbs who won the free kick - so another plus point for Robbo's hoofs :)

also fair play to Dean Ashton he was running about as much as he could but kept getting well knackered- he also kindly missed a pretty easy chance early on - then lungberg tried to get the ball back off zokora and couldn't keep up him though zoko had the ball - mmm fitness camp for hammers anyone :)

BTW it seemed to me both for the 3rd and 4th goals there was an awful lot of passes leading up to them - also I think the 3rd inolved one of those lovely take downs from a long ball by Berbs
