Nothing to moan about today.

Apart from Hutton being repeatedly attacked by several Wet Spam players according to the Beeb.

Gilberto's and Bent's goals will do wonders for their confidences.

We played very well today, without ever looking like we were at 100%. So that's good, considering we have PSV wednesday.

Happy for Gilberto & Bent. Those two needed a confidence boost.

I really thought we played extremely well. Granted they were a man down, but even before that we played great football. It was fun to watch. We got a little complacent near the middle of the 2nd period, but besides that we looked sharp. Berbatov was brilliant to watch. Wish he could have converted that free kick, would have made one awesome hat trick. I love Steed, but he's been quick on the trigger lately, passing up the chance to pass, to shoot. Lennon was all over and looked great. Should have had a second assist with the early cross to Hudd. Zokora looked great as well. I saw him making some positive passes for a change, was hoping he'd score his opportunity. Robbie had a meh game. It wasn't terrible it wasn't great. Just so many positives from our play today. I never really felt like we were going to get scored on after that early mess up. And having Bent and Gilberto get goals is huge for their confidence. Great finish for Gilberto's goal and Hutton's cross for Bent was Beckham like. Lastly, a ton of praise for Woodgate. He's really does look like one of the best CBs is the EPL.

What a poor lineup! The bench looks awful! How can we expect to win with a midfield partnership of Zokora and Hudd?

We're going to lose 2-....

Oh, wait a sec...

Gilberto's goal may have glossed over that he still looks a liability in defence. He's going to cost us more goals that much I'm sure about.

There, there's your moan!

To be honest results like this always leave us in a dilemna, made to look far better than we are, push up the fans hopes and come Wednesday what's the betting they play like a bunch of retards again! We're simply not consistent.

Great result today and I will enjoy just smiling at West Ham fans, anymore than that and you're heading for a fall..

Oddly i felt quite relaed listening to this on the radio. Was worried beforehand with Jenas out and Dawson back.

Woody marshalled the defence well, Lennon was lively and wereally ran the show pretty easily.

Good runout before the PSV game, head Woody was hobbling a bit after his mazy and rubbish cross down the right lol, hope hes ok.

Alot of positives like mentioned, looks like Ramos really got into the players after the PSV game.

If we can be this compact at the back and do well on freekicks and corners, I think we can get the 2-1 at the Phillips Stadion that will see us through.

he was playing LM though, i dont get your point. A few stray passes though, missed the goal cos my strream screwed up.I cant see how you can possibly make that judgement.

No moans for me, we were outstanding today, good to see lennon and berbs in particular return to form, we desparetely need them to play to their best against psv.

I also thought hud and zoko looked good today, which is a relief if jenas doesnt make it midweek.

Also well done to Ramos for playing a strong team, we needed the confidence boost more than the rest IMO. 2 poor games in a row, then today we really got the desired response. COYS lets smash psv now.

Rep for Marty.

It shows that if you put Dawson next to a top-class defender it raises his game, Gilberto and Bent will improve for their contributions.

.

My stream was mainly choppy but what I did see was Gilberto losing the ball just outside our box when trying to play it out. Whats wrong with playing the easy ball? Surely someone with his experience would have learnt that by now.

Don't get me wrong I'm very happy after today but still think Gilberto has a long way to go before losing the tag of 'Oh shit Gilberto's on the ball'
