Infinitely better? Based on what? Mason looked the goods in a half a game in a US tour and I'm sorry This mythical passing beast that is Tom Carroll I am yet to see.

Its not that the passing is anything special...they just release it a lot quicker IMO.

I agree, however in TCs case it's often released quickly to the opposition :)

Dembele is actually one of my favourite players...just don't think he's suited to that deeper role. I know he and Sandro did a very good job in his first season....but essentially it was a very solid base - and give it to Bale mantra.

We need more cohesion and to become more fluid, I just think he really hinders that with the amount of time he takes to release the ball.

I thought he was good against Newcastle when he played in that nominal right sided spot. Think Poch needs to have a good think about how to get the best out of him, just worry that this hip injury is still holding him back.

Got a familiar ring to it. Anyway, now that they are losing it will mean Southampton will be spending more of their ill gotten gains and might need some cash? (I doubt it though). Frazier Foster to Saints for £8m was rumoured if they lost.

Celtic were not good. I think that's fairly obvious. However, we played quite a few shitty sides in the Europa/CoC/Etc. in the past couple of years and despite winning big against some of those opponents, I don't think we ever looked quite as good as we did against Celtic. It looked like we could have scored at will. The defending still needs work, but the attack/midfield are coming together nicely, and that's before we introduce the rest of our WC players.
