Spurs first for me, but England aren't far behind! It hasn't been the same since Sven took over but we looked pretty good in Capello's first game.

England is like the fat Uncle you only see at weddings and funerals. You think he's a fat ****, but he's still your Uncle.

Spurs every time * infinity.

I egt behind England when they're playing but if they don't play well or get a result i'm over it in about 3 mins. Spurs results are a much bigger priority. Spurs by miles.

It's not even close. Compared to Spurs, i couldn't give a flying fuck about England. When England get knocked out of the World Cup I'm disappointed, but to be honest I feel far worse when Spurs draw against a shit team in the Prem. When we lost to West Ham on the last day of 2005/6 season, i felt physically sick and I was genuinley depressed for weeks afterwards. When England didn't qualify for the WC, i didn't really effect me at all.

Not fussed about England at all - the national team is a pile of crap. I always get really pissed off when our players go off to some gash training camp or pointless friendly only to come back injured e.g. The King.

I think Sven picking Walcott over Jermain Yiddo was the breaking point.

Spurs of course - any day. I do go to the England home games though and will probably enjoy them more now that we have Bentley and Woody, Jenas, even possibly Bent involved. But what I can't cope with is suddenly supporting people like Terry and Lampard - in fact I just don't support them.

It's quite an interesting barometer to see which of these you'd take over England (or your country) winning the World Cup:
a) The Premiership
b) FA Cup
c) Carling Cup
d) UEFA Cup
e) Feyenoord Jubileum Trophy
f) Fair Play award

I tried to like England - me, my brother and mate (all spurs) went to Wembley last season to watch England Russia - spent most of the game talking Spurs - tell you what I cannot do? I cannot cheer for John Terry, Lampard, Rooney and all the other b* I love to watch fail every week, I just can't do it, I've tried, but I can't.

Sorry

Club,

a manager who plays Andreas Svensson over Kim Källström and both Christian Wilhelmsson and Johan Elmander over Seb Larsson makes Sweden too frustrating to watch.

I do however root for the Swedes in the EPL, la liga, etc - except for when they play us. Larsson could have scored that goal at Stamford Bridge instead.

I instantly voted for Spurs, but then what would you prefer, Spurs winning the league or England wining the Wolrd Cup? That's a tricky one for me. Spurs winning the treble with the CL, Prem and FA cup and that's a different story. But just the league? As great as that would be i think i'd choose England winning the WC purely because the country would go nuts and everybody would be happy for a change.

Well given that I'm a Taff I'd take a Spurs Academy win against Rotherham over England winning the World Cup:razz:

Club vs Country - not really worth even considering Wales winning anything. I used to go to all the home games but quite frankly can't be arsed any more.........so Spurs it is!

If we ever get an England manager with the balls to admit that Lampard/Gerrard does not work in Central midfield, then I might just begin to get interested in England games again.

Until that day comes, I couldn't give a toss.

Spurs first everytime regardless though.

Spot on. I watch England, and I cheer them on to a point, but I am FAR more interested if Spurs players are playing. I remember when Robo was dropped I wanted us to lose, and I was glad we did.

One big thing for me is that living in Sutton, it's a mass of Chlesea scum. I can't stand even being in a pub with those fucking morons. They seriously don't have a clue about football, and during England games it's all songs about that **** Terry or that fucking wanker Lampard.

Spurs first but I do like the English football team. My other half is like a lot of you, couldn't give a shit about England but I always get excited when we're playing. I was gutted we didn't pay in Euro 2008. Like I do with Spurs, I always believe we're gonna win the next tournament etc. It would be amazing if we ever won the World Cup again, there would be parties up & down the country!
I think my order of preference would be:
Spurs league
Spurs CL
England WC
England Euros
Spurs UEFA and so on...

easy one for me:

SPURS, not england [although i like watching 'em].

put the question this way: spurs or any other country? again, spurs all the way. nice to see my country wining a game [happens once in about 2 years] but to be honest i don't give a damn.

coys.
