Have a feeling this will be a long one, so just jump on to the next post if you can't be bothered.

Almost every goal in football comes from an error. It takes enourmous ability to score a goal if the opposition is doing nothing wrong. Just look at Palace After Pulis.

The errors from this table are huge mistakes, or one-man mistakes leading to a direct chance or goal.

Look at our goals v sunderland for example. The fullbacks covering Eriksen on both assist are doing a not-good-enough job. And even that doesn't necessary need to Lead to a goal. But the CBs are also not covering ade and kane well enough. Not taking credit away from our players, but just an example that there will always be errors.
On Ades second goal there are 3 defenders getting tricked by a very simple trick by Kane. Awful defending. One Could do this on almost every singel goal in very match...

The personal mistakes this season enoys me a lot, but in the long run I'm not to worried. With a settled 11 this will disappear by itself. Notice I'm writing settled 11 and not settled 4? That's because errors can happen all over the pitch, leading to goals. Why do you think counter attacks are so effektive? So errors on the opposition half might as well Lead to goals against us. So if every player trust the other players, and know How and When to cover them we will be better defensively...

Another example: coutinhos goal against us. Think it was Lennon who pressed them along and got beaten far to easy. It was on their 20-yard but seconds later we conceeded...

This is why I'm also fan of high pressure to regain the ball. When done well it's very effective, created chances for us and it's still a long way from our goal, meaning Even if we don't succeed the opposition must do a lot right to score...

Anyways, a bit of boring tactics. I suppose LvG will get this right:)

Just smacks of a bunch of players that don't know or trust each other. No leadership or organisation.
