Got what we deserve, too many bang average/shit players and a manager who is so afraid of losing that he plays with 10 behind the ball and hopes his front three do something from nothing. There have been so many disjointed performances and suggests a massive lack of understanding throughout the squad. Kane should be leading from the front but coasts through games playing an occasional “Hollywood” pass.

Those who have been consistently picking on Son needs to look at Kane as well. He's scoring goals but he's throughput is not amazing for a few games already. That's what I'm more worried about.

Got what we deserved tonight. So many poor performances. Son shouldn't have started, Kane was having a stroll and PEH was infuriatingly poor with his distribution. And please god let that be the end of Royal. He's shit going forwards and twice as bad defending.

Yep, deserved to lose that one I'm afraid to say.
I think we should have made more use of our bench.
Kane had a bit of shocker IMO.

This isn't on Conte

If Kane and Son and co want to play at 80% or whatever this is what happens.
But then Conte must see the same level of performance as we do as fans?

No player can consider themselves untouchable and right now, Kane does endorsed by the managers decisions.

The weekend rest and all Contes hard preseason training making us the fittest team ever really showed those last 3 mins, really pushed our advantages through…

Where are the 'we've got to learn to appreciate good defending' brigade now?

This is not the kind of football that will win at the highest level consistently. It just isn't. You cannot be this passive, to be fair we pressed a bit more tonight, and expect anything.

We lack creativity and are way too predictable.
Conte’s CV would beg to differ ?

When you play like we do, the result is everything. That’s an awful result against a team we barely even troubled. After a week’s rest too

Emerson wasn't strong enough for both goals

Emerson spent the entire night running up and down that pitch making up for our usual deficit in midfield. He was fine but neither of our Wing Backs should still be on the pitch after 80 minutes playing this system. They will always be exhausted. Conte has always made those subs - now he's not. And it's cost us big time.

Fine if Doherty and Spence are second and third choice but they have to be trusted to come on for 15 minutes or we'll keep on conceding goals like this.

I’m surprised Conte didn’t bring on Sessegnon and Doherty or Spence as Perisic wasn’t at it and Emerson imploded.

He must have been happy with a point and keeping the players fresh ahead of Leicester.

I think we’ll see Lenglet, Sessegnon, Doherty, Bissouma and Kulusevski all starting at the weekend.

Emerson, Hojbjerg, Davies need improving on as soon as possible. Need Bissouma fit, inform and starting for us
