Someone else said this the other day. Spurs didn’t say that in their reply, all they said was that there wasn’t any available near me.

This was part of their reply:

‘As you sit in the future proofed safe standing section, the price would be £758 but unfortunately we don't have any availability in that section.’

The fact they’ve given a price would suggest they do let kids in but there’s just none available. (Assuming the future proofed safe standing section is the south stand, which I thought it was but could easily be wrong!)
Kids are definitely allowed in the south stand, I fairly sure the reason don’t give a reduced price is purely because of the safe standing and issues with blocking sight for the little ones causing problems.

I seem to think you might be right and that there are no concession tickets in that stand

Only south lower (standing). There are in theory above the shelf for disabled fans.
I sit above the south stand disabled access part myself and my son was offered one this week but he is too young (3) and I wasn't expecting him to be offered one so soon. When he is a bit older I will call them myself to find out but fully expecting that my sister and I will need to move to another part of the ground as we won't easily find 3 seats together.

Where'd you go?
Was it nice?
Did you need 2 jabs first?
I sailed away on the good ship Jose , far far away , to the land of empty promises and disillusionment. But now I am back . Been jabbed with the Spirit of Santo so full of hope and optimism for a bright future...not really kids have all grown up now and moved away and sitting in the stands beats talking to the wife..

So, what was the situation in the end(out of interest)? Was it entirely first come first served irrespective of position on the waiting list so that someone , say 65000 on the list, could have got one whereas someone 2000 on the list could miss out?

yep, but the first 30k or so had seperate windows earlier. So no difference between being 35k and 70k on the waiting list. Guess they just wanted it done, and saves the potential embarrassment of having to more overtly go down to say 50k on the waiting list.

So basically anyone who wants one can now get one and we have no waiting list per se? I'm sure Levy's sweating over that.

60,000 odd people saying "no thanks" must be worrying!

I always thought it was a bit disingenuous conflating one hotspur members with such a big waiting list. I was a member so I could get tickets before general sale but could never feasibly have made a season ticket work living 200 miles away and so wouldn’t take one up.

Claiming a 60k plus waiting list might have looked good to the banks and sponsors etc but now it makes them look like mugs for pissing off the fans. Which they have.

And there are still some season tickets left, including some pairs (albeit all at least £1,500 each). So you could sign up as a new member now and immediately buy a season ticket.

On the plus side, bodes well for no price increases next year as the demand just isn’t there at current prices unless performances on the pitch pick up.

Is anyone else in the situation of not having a driving license or passport for the verify my id that the club now require? If so what did you use instead (tried calling the club but no answer yet"!)

They will accept a provisional driving licence if you have one of those. I had to do it that way, my passport expired during lockdown & I haven’t got around to renewing it.

Fans will be back though Rob. I suspect most clubs with big stadiums are probably in the same boat. Lots of people have lost jobs and had finances hit during Covid, plus furlough ends in October so I suspect quite a few people are worried they could be laid off before Christmas.

If it is partly due to apathy though, that is a good thing. Although all they will probably do though is add a few quid to the price of a beer and food and those of us still going will be the ones hit if we want refreshments in the ground. Personally I'll be going to the new Beavertown Pub!

This issue is a point which I have made for the last 10 years. If you're a Bronze member back in the day you were automatically put on the waiting list even though people like myself had no intention to buy a season ticket, in my case due to location and family commitments.

The numbers that were used to be banded around were worthless. I had a bronze membership since before Santini and get rid of it due to Covid. I have no intention of getting one again as there is very little benefits.

You used to be able to go to away games. Since the reduction of away ticket prices, I haven't been to one game. I used to go to cup semi finals..no chance now unless you're a season ticket holder.

I know this is a season ticket thread but where are the real benefits in even becoming a member?? When I can still go to 5 or 6 games a season on general sale.

I don’t think it’s really related to any of that. It’s that membership is in no way an indication of wanting to buy a season ticket and never has been.

It makes nice marketing material for shareholders but it’s the same as that infamous survey that said we had a quadrillion fans worldwide which included any person who’d ever heard of us.

I assume the club makes some assumption, like 20% of members might take a season ticket if offered. It’s looking like that number is much smaller though and I bet that terrifies Levy.
