I can certainly assure you it won't be the case, from my own experience. I find that you can only really sell your tickets for the big games, and naturally you will want to go to those games.

But try selling it for a Burnley or Brighton game or the other say 14 non top 6 games, the demand just isn't there. It would be the perfect situation if you could secure STs and sell them on the exchange every time you don't go to a game, but it's just not reality. Otherwise why would people give them up....they'd just keep them forever and sell them every week,

That’s the opposite to my experience. I manage to sell mine 90% of the times I can’t go to games.

May we’ll be different this season though but I’ll be going to most games I suspect.

I've a season ticket in the South Stand, but near top. Due to new baby I couldn't go a lot in the most recent season before Covid. Never failed to sell on ticket exchange. Not so sure this season.

I think it's what seat you have and where.

Mine was West stand, super expensive, they just didn't sell. Imagine cheaper ones in South stand sell much more easily.

Me, my Dad and best mate have been offered. Tempted to go for two between us and my brother, how likely to get two together in the south stand?

Photo ID checks might put a stop on the idea of sharing nowadays?

Remains to be seen but I just cant see how they will do ID checks for 60,000 people in 60-90 mins before a game. Imagine in winter when its raining, it just wont happen.

I guess it will phone entry - meaning to share you'll have to lend your phone to someone, which ain't going to happen.

Thanks to the people who replied to my question earlier.

If it’s just a scan of a qr code then screenshots tend to work in most other like situations.

I’m just awaiting advice on how to do it sans app as my dad will really struggle with anything like that… he could barely get to grips with the tap card.

Will we still use our membership cards to get into the stadium or is there going to be a new "smart phone" procedure?

that's what I suspected. So how do we get into the stadium now if, seniors like myself, we don't have smart phones?
Wondering the same as, while my father does have a smart phone, anything technology related is a struggle for him (as I said above, he never really got to grips with the cards either), so I really want to see the measures in place for him and anyone else for whom the app isn’t convenient.

I'm hoping that the club will provide details before the unfriendly games with our london rivals take place.

Yep - said to login at 10am on Weds. I certainly didn't get the feeling it was guaranteed. Also i would want quite a specific area to be near my friends so unless that was an option i doubt i would do it.
It still seems illogical that it is first come, first served. It means position on waiting list becomes irrelevant then?

I also got offered one and I’m 61000 deep. I looked into the faq and it says there is an initial priority period once you log in to pick a seat if ones available, if you’ve been invited to get one.

Said earlier in the thread that I tried a screenshot at the Villa game. I didn't work, which is a complete pain in the arse ?

If I were you I would get the seat as close as you can to your mates and then ask for a move next season.
