I've been trying to leave messages here including some copy/paste showing a donation page message that wont accept a card and an internal error message for the thread (both with the copy/paste in it) butit wont let me post. I tried sending a pm but got an internal error message too.

Am I doing something wrong?

What you should do is open the transfer forum and then charge for pre June 1st access. That would net you like a billion dollars

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and use paypal as the donate page doesn't work for me. It'll take 3-5 business days for funds to transfer from my bank a/c to paypal.

To any Mods:
Right. I've made my donation now. Happy to donate again if you need a top up to reach the £2500 figure. I really think you should put an announcement in a prominent position on the front page, though. Plenty of regular users don't explore all areas of the site. I check SC practically every day and today is the first time I've picked up on this issue. Also had never noticed the 'donations' button on the toolbar - altho maybe I used it last time you asked for funds, but had forgotten. Plus, I had to trawl through lots of messages to find out what was going on, and then still had to send a message to find out how to donate. It's all too subtle and I think a lot of people would be put off donating. Put a sticky at the top of the Front Page and the Chat page, and put in a very clear explanation of how to donate. That's my suggestion anyhow.

Good idea mendesstormer

There are bound to be loads of front page posters willing to donate who simply haven't heard about the situation yet.
