Hi, most people watch Spurs on TV/computer/phone
Of course many also go to games
As a fan be it armchair or otherwise, do you prefer watching on Saturday or Sunday
I'm pretty much exclusively armchair these days, but in my 60 plus years of following Spurs must have been to 300 plus games
Anyway, I prefer watching us on Sunday. But TBH, any day from Monday to Sunday is fine by me. I pretty much always find time to watch my beloved club
Friendlies or finals, I've probably watched some 490 out our last 500 for example. As someone who remembers the dark days before wall to wall TV, I'm very grateful for that
Hope this thread is okay, naturally please remove if not, COYS

I prefer Sunday games so that it doesn't ruin my whole weekend if we lose. Also I find say if we lose on a Saturday lunchtime, I kind of lose interest in all the other fixtures. If we win it's the opposite.

If I'm going to the match (not that often), then Saturday 3pm. If I'm watching at home, Sunday 4.30pm.

I tend to 'go out' more on a Saturday and don't enjoy constantly checking the phone, or scrolling through the match thread with all the other miserable gits that inhabit this place. On Sunday I like to read the sports pages, watch the lunchtime match in the pub and then Spurs after a roast dinner. Sometimes I manage to get half an hour's kip in before the panic begins with 15 minutes to go.

I’ll be catching the train back to Devon after the game on Sunday and realistically won’t be home until just after midnight. Makes for a grumpy Monday morning at work for me. Otherwise, I don’t really mind. In the winter when it is dark I prefer a later ko on the TV so we can make the most of the light during the day to do stuff outside.

Yep the 4pm Sunday kick off is the one I like. I hate the lunchtime kick offs and the Saturday evening games.

This is actually it. Win Saturday lunchtime and the whole weekend of football is great. Leave us til last on Sunday and I can enjoy the other games freely.

Prefer Saturdays. If I'm going to a game I prefer early ko as it takes me 3 hrs to get home from final whistle.. t
I'm going to Leeds game this weekend so probably wont be home until 9.30ish.

Saturday 15:00 or 17:30. It’s not even close.
Well Riggi, it's not even close for you, and that's fair enough
But so far in this thread the Sunday/not bothered brigade are leading.
The Saturday faction, once so dominant in this country, are trailing so far. Early days of course ?

Bloody armchair fans!

I just think the atmosphere is better on a Saturday evening. Having work the next day is just a drag.

Yep, I think Saturday evening is a good time atmosphere wise.
Sunday lunch is often a bad time for atmosphere.
Interestingly though I think the best home atmosphere so far this season has been the City game, which was on a Sunday
And if we beat Leeds I think that will probably go second in this seasons atmosphere rankings
But as pretty much all our home games have been Sundays or Thursdays, only one Saturday to compare with so far, IIRC

Saturday at 10 AM. Best slot out there for me. Loved when we were in CL & we had a bunch of those slots. Being able to go from an entertaining Spurs match straight into 12 hours of college football>>>>>

If I’m going, Saturday at 3 (can’t remember last time, maybe Burnley and Sons goal). Watching, 4.30 Sunday.

I prefer the late match either day. Brunch/lunch with a Smithwicks at the local Spurs pub.

From a family point of view, they’re all happier if it’s late on a Sunday, cos then it doesn’t ruin our weekend.

Personally, like @riggi i like a Saturday evening game. Always seems a better atmosphere, probably because the stadium goers are well up for it.

When I am at the game , either but not to late KO as it gets me home at a reasonable time.
I still work on Saturday's when I am in the States so on a selfish point of view, I prefer Sunday

For travelling to the games - it's Saturday 3pm or the 12.30pm early kick-off. That makes it possible to get home and not have to stay overnight.
Watching at home - I'll watch at any time.
