Friendly exactly 7 days away from when the real season starts. I'd expect this to be close to PL level intensity, especially with the team out there.

If we start like this next week the crowd are already on their backs after 15 mins and we know how limp these players get when things don't go their way.

Part of that is down to different styles. We are not set up to play a free-flowing, up and down style. Much more disciplined.

Doherty just offers so much more than Royal. He's always attacking the back post, and gets into good positions.

Definitely not as strong defensively, but I think with the holding CMs and Romero we can afford a more attack minded rwb
