Between Vlad maybe flying tonight or Monday, and Soldado flying anywhere on Thursday, could be either one to me.

Seems to be unlikely that Vlad would fly tonight, though could still fly tomorrow and be here for Thursday. I'm hoping we get both though, whichever order we do it in.

I Don't get it! Why agree to pay Soldados buy out clause on Saturday then not bother contacting then again! It Really doesn't make sense to me... Surely we knew from the discussions with Valencia last week how much they wanted and how they wanted it to be paid I.e 2 instalments.

I can see it now, half an our before they set of for USA and Salvo rings up Levy offering him Soldado on his terms. Levy declines and hangs up the phone. He rings back 10 minutes before they go and tries to nab a couple million off the price.

In my opinion im still confident but time is certainly running out.

I think the issue is, if we have to pay the fee in 2 installments, say 15m now and 15m next season, due to FFP coming in that 15m would come out of next seasons budget which will be much tighter.
I think it is just a game of devil's advocate going on and we are waiting to see who will blink first.
