Usual predictable crap, and as much as the ref tried to even it up with their pen in the 2nd half our heads dropped after the goal.

Now I can blame Gomes, he needs something to sort out his confidence fast but the bottom line it this is yet another game that the ref has changed completely in the favour of Chelsea.

I'm not to cheesed at the Ref. The Lino however is a ****.

The Ref gave the goal based on the lie that the Lino told him.

Refs, Linos, they're all at it. Harry no doubt will tell the press that we get as many as we give...

They are all c***s and I am getting fed up with all.

Like my Grandoo always said, if you don't play by the rules, what's the point in playing.

Far too many c***s in football now.

Mariner was really good imo, he let the game flow and was spot on...
The two clowns on the lines are different story though

i thought generally the ref had a decent game, except for his inability to book Terry for the 2-footed lunge at Charlie, or his deliberate foul on defoe when he had a great shooting opportunity. Although he finally booked Terry for abusing him verbally after kabouls great challenge on malouda - but Terry should not have been on the pitch at this time.

The goals were without doubt the fault of the lino, and the ref cannot be blamed for either. I hope this lino is demoted but no doubt we will not hear anything about this lino's punishment.

I thought the ref had a pretty good game today actually. Both goals, and the ludicrous free kick for obstruction against Modric second half were given by the same - shit**** - linesman.

what riles me is that they shouln't of awarded the goal without being sure...if in doubt it shouldn't be awarded.

When it's Chelsea* at home...

* Swap for Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal, soon to include Manchester City as well, as applicable...

Over in these parts the commentators on ESPN Latin America have now voiced on several occasions the terrible standard of refs/linos we have in the Premier League, starting with our illustrious H.Webb and his world cup final cock ups.
If the Premier league and F.A don't do something soon, then Blatter and his cronies should at least help these semi-stupid officials out by bringing in goal-line technology.

But bringing it in would upset the status quo, which is why they won't...

I agree completely, how can the linesman be 100% sure of something that didnt actually happen.
What a disgrace, add it on the list of officials clangers against us

I'm baffled as to how any one can say the ref was good he refused to book their players and got a goal line decision horribly wrong

The Ref consults the Lino, the Lino says it crossed the line, the Ref gives the goal based on the Linesman telling him it was a goal.

The Ref booked three Chelsea players and one Spurs player.

Happy to unbaffle you

Final decision comes down the ref he doesn't have to go with his lino there were number of occasions Chelsea ayers should have been booked and he refused to get his card out the defoe one being the most blatant. The ref had a shocker nothing unbaffled about it.

As predictably awful a decision as it was, whether or not it crossed the line should never have been up for debate. The point is that any professional goalkeeper should be catching that fanny fart of a shot comfortably every time.

He didn't look like he had his body square to the shot, same with the Real goal...surely the coching staff should be making sure he gets a basic like that spot on every single time (or is all about concentration:shrug:).

There is one obvious culprit...the buck stops with...Jermaine Jenas:hump:

I just cannot help but feel if this had happened to Baconface, Mourinho or he who we cannot sing about the FA would be shitting themselves now and the officials would be finished.
