The last time we performed like that we won 3-0, but because I was critical of our performance, I was called "Jesus Christ", "A Doom Merchant" "A Clown" and other names. We performed the same way today, so those people who were critical of me, can hands on heart say that result again justified this performance? I do not like it. No composure, no thought process (e.g tackling in a way knowing that you are going to be penalized), bad first touch etc etc etc. We may have finished 6th but undeserved if I am to be truthful as teams like Wolves have played much better than us. I will add (to my detriment), I think Crystal Palace played better than us as they seemed, cohesive, confident and not running around like headless chickens like us. I am prepared to accept the criticism again, but this is honestly how I feel. I really hope there is an improvement next season in our performances.

He hardly got any service, but his goal today kept us finishing 6th this season so Harry MOTM.

100% agree with OP.

I fear for next season if Mourinho is happy with this kind of display. We only have Kane to thank for getting us a point.

What utter horse manure of a display that was.

All 6’s apart from Winks and Sissoko who get 5.

Poor.

Anyone giving Sissoko a higher rating than Winks In central midfield is crazy; never wants the ball, plays it straight back to where he got from almost every time he gets it and if he doesn’t possession is lost, I really hope this is one of the last times I see him start a game in the middle (or anywhere to be honest) for us.

I agree! I thought Winks and Sissoko were our worse performers. They had no control of the midfield, which played right into Palace's hands

Copy and paste from basically every single game they have started together. Truly one of the worst pairings in the league.

Lacking in ideas, drive, and energy. My Manchester United supporting friends warned that this was the exact type of performance that week over week proved rotten under Mourinho.

My take is that we still do a very good job of keeping dangerous shots and chances to a minimum, largely shut down our box really well, and Kane is almost the best finisher imaginable. Efficient, but I really worry for us if N’Dombele can’t come good as the midfield has less creativity and dynamism than I’ve ever seen since AVB.

Kane showed the one moment of class we had in the game.

I think we should buy him an armchair to sit in for most of the game as he rarely ever gets the ball in the opposition area these days ... because we really venture over our halfway line. In a decent team he would score 30 goals a season and Son 20+. But when your key midfield player is supposedly Sissoko your stuffed

It's bizarre to me that GLC was pushed further forward when we actually played well in the one game he played deeper with Winks and Sissoko in a midfield three. It gave us so much more control than we've had in any game where we've relied on a double pivot that just proves every time they play it that it categorically does not work.

I thought Sonny was awful - powder puffed every challenge. Lucas was probably the best overall. A great piece of skill by Harry for the goal and a couple of sweet passes but was anonymous apart from that. The rest of the team were pretty meh.

Sissoko getting my MOTM (Meh-est of the Meh)

FBs both crap, 1 quality DMF would do more than winks/ms do together, get hold of Son and give him a good slapping, bollock all the casual errors and complacement back passes, and wire up the whole team's balls to mains electricity and if they give the ball away turn on the power. Attack, Attack, AttackAttackAttack.
Easy this management

How on earth was that the same performance? We countered far more effectively against Leicester and tested their keep ten times more, literally.

So another 'Jesus Christ' from me I'm afraid lol.

Absolutely baffled at how you interpret two very different performances.

Worst game I've ever seen Sissoko and Winks play and Sissoko was REALLY BAD against Leicester.

Just not satisfied with either performance, just not. We are better (or should be ) better than that

Absolutely typical of recent performances

I just can’t see us making progress with this style of football

we look resigned to being mid table

can’t see players wanting to join this
