Had a long spell of giving the ball away every time he had it. But a lot of them did in the second half.

Davies was horrible. So many sloppy passes. Can't take a man, can't attack, can't cross.

Sorry, I somehow misread that as being an exception to the scores for both halves.

I still think 3 is a little harsh for the 2nd half. I'd say 8 1st half then 5 2nd half.

Lo Celso was best for me

Surprised at the praise Sissoko has rec'd. I felt he killed the momentum of several moves by playing backwards/safe

Very encouraged by Bale. I felt there was a real fluidity to his game where he kept finding space, linking with teammates with a positive offensive attitude. Getting better each match

Concerned that Jose is only seeing one place for either Ndombele or Lo Celso. They have too much to offer for one to dit out

The big problem with CV is that we are comparing him to Harry Kane who was wonderful today, should have scored a hatrick mind but oozed class.

My big positive was bale, I thought he was brilliant too, together they are going to terrify defences.

PEH in midfield was immense, the difference was huge where winks didn't win a tackle in the first half peh won the ball 3/4 times in 10 minutes. He really is the Harry Kane of ball winning.

Sissoko special mention as well today.

I’ve been a harsh critic and I thought it was his best performance of the season tonight. That said, ludogorets isn’t the level he needs to prove it against.

I think this has been a fitness issue to be honest. Was so happy to see a sharper looking Lo Celso today because he has looked a little off the pace since he came back (as all players do). We’ve just been unlucky up until now that we’ve not been able to get PEH, Ndombele and Lo Celso all on the pitch together. I think it happens vs. WBA though. Can’t wait until they are in full flow, the engine room that was a weakness over the last few seasons is now going to be a huge strength.

Vinicius is plainly going to need some time to adapt to the game. Even though this was not PL opposition, he hasn't adapted to the pace of his own teammates. There have been multiple occasions in all his appearances where he simply hasn't thought or moved quickly enough to take advantage of opportunities. At present, the only aspects of his play that are working are holding the ball up and passing to teammates.

More concerning is that Doherty is showing the same deficiencies. The point of buying a right back who has played in the PL for years is that he shouldn't need a year to adapt. Perhaps he's just out of form.

Other than those two, I thought everyone played well, including Davies and Winks. The score should have been about 6-1. Lo Celso would be my choice for MotM.

I thought Sissoko did better 1st half than PEH 1st half.

100% spot on..........especially because PEH couldnt do much from the bench

Stand outs were Bale, Lo Celso, Kane, PEH. Thought Winks was good first half but dreadful second. Sissoko was pretty good.

LoCelso for me, not because he had a great game but because he tried to get involved in everything and tried to get hold of the game. Hojbjerg was decent when he came on too but we ended up conceding way to many chances in the second half which just seems to be what we do now, even against pub teams.

It's an OK result yesterday. We didn't play our best match and we look to be a little bit switched off whenever we're facing a lesser opponent. Nice to see Bale getting that 60 mins.
