City look a totally different side to the one last weekend, European hangover? Just shows, if you can keep Aguero quiet, like prawnsandwich said.
Gotta give credit to WH as well. Game will get stretched in the second half and city will have more chances.

West Ham went out and engaged in some big net spending this past summer (30 million pounds). Song, Sakho, and Valencia have transformed them. This is the new reality in an EPL that is awash in an additional 25-35 million pounds of television revenue as compared to two years ago, and now the lower and middling teams can go out and spend an extra 15-20 million pounds to bring in a difference maker or two, or bring in one high waged loanee like Song.

Why in the world we didn't go do a deal for Song is beyond me. He is exactly what Poch would want in a two man midfield. Great passer, tackler, and tons of high level experience. I'd far rather have loaned him than bought Stambouli.

Absolute beast. Every Gooner in the world must be kicking themselves over Wenger not resigning him.
He's also learned to play passes in between players and cute reverse balls like the one that lead to the goal.

The mistake WH is making though is some of their players are getting a bit cocky/flash and when you do that you lsoe concentration...it only takes 10 secs for city to counter and score.

It just shows, they have an organised defence, a midfielder who works hard, can break up play and make incisive forward passes and they have direct, aggressive forwards making the opposition defence work hard.

Those 3 things are basics to be a success in the PL and we lack all of them! Hopefully Harry Kane continues to improve and in the summer we sell Ade and Soldado and buy strikers which actually suit the PL!

Fair points. I don't get this love-in about our performance against City.
