I want West Ham to win. There-I said it.
I will now gargle with mouthwash.
Pulis on Football Focus...he will be earning himself a couple of million a little later this season. He is mentioning a player's character rather than ability.

City to win please.

Unfortunately West Ham are more our opponents than Man City who will finish above us anyway.

West Ham and Southampton are not our rivals. Millwall were top of the table at this stage a few years ago.

As we are in a transition period they are certainly more our rivals than Man City. We are still better than them, but there is not guaranteed we will finish above them.

I don't think we are in a major transition. I think we have a top 4 squad. The fact that there are arguments about who should be starting in the match threads is evidence.

I should fucking hope Gus learned a lot. I remember CP(?) a few seasons ago bouncing back from a big defeat to grind out a draw against a top team in their next game. Can Sunderland do the same?
Of course not.

To be fair we show too much respect for the big teams. We really needed to be aggressive like West Ham.

City look a totally different side to the one last weekend, European hangover? Just shows, if you can keep Aguero quiet, like prawnsandwich said.
