What’s the biggest defeat in league history? Could be a record broken tonight
Premier League is 9-0 and has been done four times before.

Top flight history is 12-0, Football League history including lower divisions is 13-0.

Record for Most goals scored in 1 half is still us with 8 v Wigan.
I wouldn’t rule out arse getting that this half if they really want it.

Even with my recent knee surgery and having just wolfed down 2 sticks of garlic bread I reckon I wouldn’t be out of place in a Sheffield United kit out there

Much as I hate to admit it. This smacks of a club that has stuck by the manager and given him enough time to put together a team. Much as I fucking hate The twat. It’s paying off for them. We are at the start of this journey. And can easily get to their level. But we lack a few components at the moment. But the scum are looking ominously good at the moment.

This is true, but they’ve also backed him with their wallets.

As much as I hate them, they are a winning club for whom being 2nd best and simply competing isn’t enough…… and yeah I know simply spending money without a plan isn’t enough on it’s own.

Most goals conceded at Home in a PL season is 46. Sheff Utd are on 41 with 5.5 games to go.

Also fewest clean sheets in a season is 3 and Sheff Utd have 1 so far.

Hmm

Aston Villa reported a financial loss of £69 million for the financial year ending May 31, 2019. This loss included a £30 million bonus payment to former owner Randy Lerner upon the club's return to the Premier League, along with "exceptional promotion-related costs" of £45.8 million. The club's turnover decreased by £14.3 million from the previous year to £54.3 million, mainly due to a reduction in Premier League parachute payments [oai_citation:1,Aston Villa record £69m financial loss including £30m bonus payment to former owner Randy Lerner | Football News | Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11945657/aston-villa-record-69m-financial-loss-including-30m-bonus-payment-to-former-owner-randy-lerner).

For the financial year ending May 31, 2022, Aston Villa reported a small profit of £400,000, marking a significant improvement from the previous losses. This turnaround was notably influenced by the profit from player sales, which surged from just £1 million to £97 million. Despite a slight fall in revenue by £5 million to £178 million and an increase in operating expenses by £50 million, the club managed to achieve profitability [oai_citation:2,Aston Villa record £69m financial loss including £30m bonus payment to former owner Randy Lerner | Football News | Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11945657/aston-villa-record-69m-financial-loss-including-30m-bonus-payment-to-former-owner-randy-lerner).

Don’t see how they can be operating within PSR with the last three financial results…?

They must have to sell a few. The grealish sale would have balanced the books massively though (was that within the 3 years?)

Explains why Ramsey was being linked to so many too. He’s a youth product so he’ll be first out the door.

With those figures they're at a 3 year loss of just over 188m so they need to sell 83m to be within the limit. Is that correct?

Arsenal are playing well at the moment, fair play, but honestly the same teams that play us suddenly decide to have 4 or 5 prime Maldini's in defense and organization when we get to them.
No, we just pass so slow that it makes them look like 5 Maldini's. The tempo with and without the ball is just at another level on City, Pool and Ars at the moment i am afraid.

That’s how I read it, but I think some counts as extra ordinary loss, like paying off Lerner, so no idea if they can be deducted from the 115m over 3 years figure… but it feels like they have to sell for sure
