In fairness to Sheffield I think the league is just very strong right now. 3 teams arguably in the best 5 in Europe and mid table teams like wolves Newcastle Brighton are particularly good relative to the type of teams that used to occupy those positions

Sheffield United would do well to not get anyone sent off, it could get embarrassing otherwise.

They’re shit.

but also - the top 3, which Arsenal are annoyingly in, are a cut above us.
I disagree with the last part.

They play with more confidence than we do - but on our day, I think we can play with any team in the league. We will get a better measure of our squad this weekend.

Still can't see Arsenal catching Liverpool or City even if they hammer Sheff utd.

Lol I see they can go top this weekend but I meant OVERALL I still can't see them winning it.

They absolutely smothered Liverpool when they played them. Liverpool / City and City / Arsenal coming up will tell us who wins it, really.

Especially as Spurs will beat all three :cautious:

Any team can play well on their day, it's the consistency of playing well and getting the results that sets the top 3 so far apart from the rest. Right now at least

They also sold their best players in the summer and barely had 14 senior players to field the 1st game.
They’ve been utterly shite though for months
