I'd like to suggest the next poll idea...

What order is correct?

1) Go to work, put clothes on, wakeup

2) Go to work, , wakeup, put clothes on

3) Wakeup, put clothes on, go to work

4) Put clothes on, wake up, go to work

5) Wakeup, go to work, put clothes on

Well it was a real problem, because AVB kept picking Brad, despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of Spurs fans didn't want him in goal, and it was causing major tensions.

The story may not even be over yet, as it wouldn't be the most amazing thing if Brad started v West Ham, and the whole argument will kick off again.

thats the issue though. who cares what the majority want. were not the manager and should respect their decision even if it is contrary to your opinion. thats the problem here. too many people think their opinion should matter. at a game all fans should leave their fucking opinions at the turnstyles and concentrate on supporting the team.

Well I care very much what the majority wants, when the majority is so clear cut and of landslide proportions as this one. It's up to the manager to pick the team obviously, but when a choice is so clearly wrong as AVB's was, it splits the club wide open, and causes all sorts of tensions internally and externally.

I agree that when fans go into the ground they should support the team. Had I been to the Lane this season I would have cheered on Brad even though I didn't want him in the team, ditto Gallas and whoever else.

If Lloris continues to play, and we continue to play the attacking type of line ups I saw v Arsenal, it won't be long before before I make my return to the Lane, but I wasn't going to pay good money to see the type of depressing football and team selections that AVB was making.

Forums are the place where we can criticise the manager without affecting the play or atmosphere in the ground, directly anyway. Admittedly there can be knock on effects, but as I say I think fans should, like you say, leave their negative opinions at the turnstiles.

But polls like this are valid and important, as they show just how out of touch with the fans AVB was/is on this, and that's not going be good for him, especially when results don't go our way.

Why are you asking me Chrissi? I've already told you I've nothing more to say to you after that ridiculous and uncalled for 'dumb rating' you gave me before. The only reason I can read your question is because I can't put you on ignore.

Of course if you want to ask a question so that others can answer it, fine. :)

Your making shit up to try and prove your point

When you said it was fact that Brad made more mistakes i asked for your proof on this fact.

You couldn't and said that I should go and look my self.
Now your saying there was internal tension when your don't know this. Unless you can prove this (and please do) then you are creating more tension by trying to get more people on the back or Brad and AVB.

You get rated dumb for making dumb comments.

Hugo doesn't turn water into wine quite yet, you're all giddy after he plays and we ship 5.

Nice one.

Didn't Friedel play in a game where we shipped 5 against Arsenal last time we played them at the Emirates?

Doesn't that show that Friedel is at least as bad?

Or in fact does it show that raising that point was borderline pointless?

When you look at both games and the goals I don't think it does as it happens.

If Brad had been in nets there'd already be at least 10 posts of people giving it, "oh Lloris would have saved this/that etc."

Mackay has spouted some utter tosh throughout this thread about the goalkeepers we have and about the manager. As it happens I think Arsenal were far better in the same fixture last season than they were against us with 10 at the weekend.

IMO Lloris showed nothing that should make him automatic No.1. Still waiting for a good performance from him.

The obvious choice is Lloris... Think enough time has been given for the transition to happen in full now. Friedel was given games, was not unceremoniously dumped and Lloris has bided his time. Lloris will make mistakes true, but rather now whilst we are on a bit of a poor run anyway and then all be on same page when we do push upwards again.

Brad is still a reliable keeper, but it is now time I feel to push on with the new... I am glad we have this dilemma, shame it isn't the same issue in Midfield.

The next transition will be with Gallas I would imagine, but that might have to wait until Kaboul is back.

To do what exactly :)

Mainly mess about and say stupid things. Occasionly to remind those particulary vociferous ones on the effect their seeminly innocuous opinion may have.

Just need to learn how to turn water into wine now.
