Ignoring the fact that Lloris is younger and [probably] the better goalkeeper, then at the very least if this is to be a season of transition, we may as well bed in our new goalkeeper now so that he gets a chance to acclimatise himself to the style of play in the league and can familiarise himself with our slowly evolving defence.

That way we minimise the number of players who need to adapt for next season (new players permitting) and give ourselves the best possible chance that the entire team can be ready for a sustained push for the top next season.

I want to see Hugo in goal for a run of games.

Brad hasn't done too much wrong, but I do feel that someone a bit younger might just have had more of a go at keeping out some of the goals we conceded. Brad has made some decent saves but if you look at them, most have been pretty simple saves where the shots are straight at him.

I also predict that sunnydelights prediction maybe bang on the money...

Lloris is going to be our long term No 1 i have no doubt about that, hopefully he will cut out the mistakes that have cost us goals in his last two games though.

Brad. Lloris made a mistake in the league cup (due to Naughton back pass) whereas Brad's done nothing wrong.
Brad has made loads of mistakes, v Wigan and Soton for starters, I could list others.

Hugo has made less mistakes than Brad, conceded less goals per game and is the better keeper, there really is no comparison.

A mistake is a mistake no matter the circumstances. Do you feel they made equal numbers (all games played considered)?

it would be an interesting stat to see, but one that would be hard to prove.

I havent managed to watch all of this seasons games, so would be hard for me to call.
I would like to see Lloris start a couple more Premiership games, but not thrown in at the moment

3- There is
1 - flapped at wigan goal - failed to deal with cross that led to soton goal, I'm amazed if you hadn't noticed these and need me to spell them out, but happy to do so

2. yep - just go through the games - count the mistakes you''ll see Brad has made more

3 - there isn't realistically, Lloris is a far better goalie, superior in all the major aspects of goalkeeping, from shot stopping to dealing with crosses, agility, speed off the line, etc - so in the normal use of the phrase there really isn't any comparison, hugo is streets ahead

that's why he's captain of France and one of the most highly rated keepers in the world and rated far higher than Brad

mind you if AVB continues to knock Lloris' confidence back, then it might be Lloris does go backwards.
