funnily enough although he has a very good point and chelski will have a BIG advantage (coupled with a stronger squad) many of our fans will not recognize this if we are flat and get beaten. And that is frustrating

A lot of pressure against an able opponent. And considering this is Spurs...sooooo
I know, but I don't think we have a choice. If we can take a 2-0 there we can then start some of the second options and bring on subs if needed.

Must try and kill it at the lane.

It's simple really. We should play in Florence Wednesday night in the name of FairPlay.
As it stands the Euro League is perfectly designed for the CL teams to maintain their advantage over their challengers as they are often knackered in weekend games after playing in places like Georgia Thursday night. I'll never forget when we had to play Chelski less than two days after playing (in Europe I think).
The overall problem is that the EL is our best chance of CL qualification (albeit still a long shot) so there is no way we can rest players against Fiorentina unless we finish them off at the Lane as thinktank suggests.
We should appeal to UEFA, but I'm pretty convinced it's pointless.

agree with we need a big lead but is 2-0 that big a lead after what nearly happened at Sheffield, i think we just have to take each game as it comes and just hope for the best and lots of luck.

Away goals are in play aren't they? We then nick one at theirs and they need to go for four.

They'd also need to come at us from the off and that's our idea scenario as we get the space we need to run our game and counter effectively.
