Man... You got Gedson but not Lo Celso.. lol.. Sometimes I too forget he played for us.

I excluded attacking midfielders otherwise would start putting the likes of Dele and Eriksen in as well

We’ve just acted like a big club and gone out and done the deal. We’ll make our money back on other signings eventually, no need to worry about that.

He's honestly probably worth 40m already with a new contract. But, like you said, we got a gaggle of shitbirds to sell, still. Let's hope we find a buyer!

This guy was near the top of my Wishlist for the summer. Absolutely massive upgrade on Winks, and the perfect signing for Conte's midfield two. Suddenly Skipp and Hojbjerg are going to have to fight to get into the team, when before January they were the only legit midfield options we had.

What a window so far. Let's tie up Spence and Eriksen and then get to work on the mega signings for CB and FW.

Depends on form and system, Conte always wants flexibility of having options to play 343 or 352, sometimes we will see Bentancur,PEH, Bissouma all start and sometimes one of them won't. That's why he bought Drinkwater and Bakayoko at Chelsea.

No... it just means that we have more depth in quality and different tools during a long season. More opportunities to keep players fresh as well... change games via tactics more often... more competition for places will just make everyone better... There will be plenty of games.

We also have to be able to cope with injuries to key players without losing too much quality.

I guess Bissouma is our new Dembele... a type we have been missing

Amazing to see us finally doing our business early as opposed to dragging to last week of the window to get the missing vital pieces of the jigsaw and often miss out.

Not sure about “we’ll make our money back eventually” it’s looking like we’re likely to make less than 50% back on Lo Celso and god knows what will happen with Tanguy.

I think only reason we’re taking a different approach this summer is due to the cash injection and admission we need a shot in the arm to get back amongst the title chasing pack.

previously being run sustainably meant there was little room for fuck ups and every penny in influenced what we could spend on new signings.

I doubt uncle joe will be giving away 150m again anytime soon so I don’t think this ‘big club’ approach will continue past this summer.
