Athletic now reporting PSG are asking to take him on Loan for 6 months. :)

Paris Saint Germain are interested in taking Tanguy Ndombele on loan from Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of the season.

Ndombele has fallen out of favour so badly at Tottenham that he is now training on his own and has not made the match-day squad for Spurs' last two games.

But Mauricio Pochettino, who signed Ndombele for Spurs from Lyon in 2019, is still an admirer of the player. And Pochettino's PSG are now ready to offer Ndombele the opportunity to turn his career around. PSG need more quality in midfield and Georginio Wijnaldum has struggled to impress since joining on a free transfer from Liverpool last summer.

Tottenham are keen to find a new club for Ndombele and know that they will struggle to recoup the £55 million that they paid Lyon for him in 2019. This makes a loan move the most likely outcome, for a player who still has two and a half years left on his contract. Spurs previously struggled to find a new club for Ndombele when he asked to leave last summer, hoping to go to Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Barcelona.

Ndombele would rather only leave Tottenham for another big club, and on the surface PSG would look like a perfect fit. Not only is Ndombele himself from the Paris suburbs, but PSG have a long-standning admiration for him, having tried to sign him in 2020.

Sounds like there’s a long way to go for this to happen. I suspect we’ll only want loan with obligation to buy while PSG won’t. We should take anything that gets him out the club and playing better to get himself a move.

Would take Paredes off their hands if they're interested in a swap deal.

I couldn't think of a club that is the opposite fit to Tanguy than PSG, with their front 3, the midfield 3 have to make up for their laziness and cover so much ground, i can't see Tanguy doing that

I think that changed post Morecambe. I think we'd take a straight loan now. In fact I'd say PSG would probably be the ones pushing for a relatively low option fee instead. If he shines there Levy will want to take them to the cleaners.
