Steepish option to buy for £30-40m with them covering the majority of his wages would be the dream. If he tears it up which he might be motivated to do then we'll get a decent wedge if not no biggie we've saved about £4-5m in wages for someone who is useless to us.

Verratti is one of my favourite current players. Would love to swap him for Tanguy if Ndombele is really as done here as he seems to be.
Verratti is PSG's most important player and he is constantly injured. Only stated 10 games this season so far and 16 games last season.

Saying we asked for Paredes in exchange but he refused

Wrote 4 posts saying Paredes would be a great fit for us. Glad to hear that FP/AC think we could use a deep-lying playmaker as well.

I can't work out the context on whether we asked for him. It says the psg director says they need to make room in a congested area of the squad to bring in ndombele. It may just be saying parades is refusing to move anywhere in exchange of his midfield place or they were trying to force him to us and he's said no.

Edit you were right. Another French reporter said we asked about parades and he said no.

Wijnaldum would be a good short term option.

I don't know if it was reported in the UK but I was told that PSG have a major issue in the club as the Spanish speaking players are quite domineering and a lot of them didn't take to Wijnaldum as Paredes was benched for him.

This meant Wijnaldum's form suffered and confidence, so Paredes regained his spot.

Although, I imagine he's in high wages
