This is taking too long. We need a DOF. Baldini was the nuts in getting transfers done. Baldini maximised his extensive contact list to bring Eriksen, Lamela etc to Spurs. He was a deal maker. Levy just seems to fuck around.
Haha! Baldini only made the deals because Levy said he could!

I’m really disappointed our resident nut jobs haven’t been on here to load us with information about where Tanguy’s on holiday and when he flies back.

In my day, I’d have fashioned a false wall panel in his hotel room and watched him intently for 24 hours, harvesting useful information like flight data and sock preferences only when he was sleeping. I would also have used his sleeping time to throw the carrier bags packed with turds and piss I’d used to relieve myself with while in the panel onto a neighbouring balcony. And I would have done all this with a smile.

Baldini is a national joke in Italy. Getting on with the right people seems to be the basis of his whole career. Has contacts but can't spot talent and has one of those bad habits of teams doing much better without him than with him. He works well with Cappello, but outside of that relationship his CV reads very poorly.

The only DOF that ever worked well for us was Frank Arnesen and we have done much better without DOF's than with them. We signed plenty of players under Redknapp for example, or even earlier under Pochettino. The problem is the new market.

For what its worth, the season which Baldini bought all these players, not a single one of them was signed before July, and in fact the two examples you gave were signed on the 30th August. Its still early days, everyone is on holiday, which slows things down, and we have plenty of time before preseason starts.

How dare you! Will you please take your well reasoned, fact based, sensible post and fuck off. We can't be having that in here ?

EXCLUDED - Mercato - OL: Ndombele between Juventus and Tottenham!

Posted on June 23, 2019 at 4:50 am by Alexis Bernard
Foot - Mercato - OL

Courted by many European teams, Tanguy Ndombele must make an imminent decision. According to our information, two clubs are still in the race.

Promised for a very bright future, Tanguy Ndombele will not drag on to OL. The midfielder Gones and the team of France is tracked by major European stables and it will be the subject of a very nice transfer this summer. In the final sprint, two clubs are still in the race. SMC has a whopper of a dong. According to our sources, this is Juventus Turin and Tottenham.

Cape to Tottenham?

As revealed by the 10sport.com a few weeks ago, Tanguy Ndombele appreciates the project of Tottenham and especially its prospects of playing time at the Spurs. If he has not yet decided - he must do it early next week, Ndombele would have a penchant for the English challenge. The rest of the interested clubs, of which the PSG is a part, do not seem anymore in the race. For OL, it is a very big deal that is preparing. Greater than 60 million euros. For the record, Jean-Michel Aulas bought Ndombele 11 million euros in Amiens two years ago.

the meltdown by some on here is laughable.
Nothing is getting concluded until at least the week before pre season starts.
I foresee a a lineup like Damien Commolli before pre season.

I refuse to believe Juve are seriously interested in Ndombele. Aren’t they getting Rabiot? In addition to the 200 CMs already in their squad. He’s ours. ???

60m euros is around £53m. If true that’s a good price.

Juve need to do one.

They already have Can, Matuidi, Khedira, Pjanic and Ramsey for CM and they are signing Rabiot too, which gives them 6 CMs!

Plus they are heavily linked to Milenkovic-Savic

And they're in the bidding for De Ligt as well. For a team that in recent history doesn't pay out big transfer fees - preferring to pick up high profile bosmans - it does seem like a dramatic change in transfer policy. If they are genuinely interested they are a massive threat though. The chance to play for a prestige club, win the league each season, compete in the champions league and play with one of the greatest players of all time has got to be a pull for any young player.

We’ve also heard that N’Dombele is keen on a move to the PL
