Their luck was always going to run out. Be great to have him back, even off the bench if needs must. Cant bare to see Gil come on again and do....well, not much.

Our starting 11/bench could be very nice come Saturday.
I don’t expect Son to feature this weekend. He won’t get back until Thursday and it looks like he’s carrying a knock/strain of some description.

Bench I reckon. It boosts morale and everyone around him even if he doesnt feature.

He wont feature vs Brighton, I doubt. Maybe on the bench but I'd be amazed to see him start. Particularly given Werner's good play

Should be on the bench v Brighton but after that we will have a tough decision to make. Maybe Werner could swap over to the RW , has he played there much?

How bizarre.. most of the great players don't make great managers.. Klinsmann is another fine example

Looks like he needs a break , 2 extra time games and an another 90 over the last week .

I agree, this isn't a usual situation.

He's the most famous person in SK, expected to carry their hopes of 50m people on his shoulders.

The mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion will have taken it's toll.

Maybe he gets a 10 minutes cameo if we need a goal, but I wouldn't be shocked if he's rested to avoid the risk of burnout.

He will get his rest after the Wolves game. We dont have a game 24/25th Feb.

I reckon they will ask for him to feature maybe off bench Saturday, then play against Wolves at home. Then he gets his 2 weeks rest.
