Yes, 60 mil is to much for richy. Good player, no doubt. But do we really need him for that amount of money? I think no. Cant really see him joining us to sit on the bench when he is a ”legend” in everton. I would go for a younger striker instead.

Not really sure you can nuance 'shithousing' if i'm honest.

It'll be hugely beneficial in drawing fouls, winding up opposition and generally being a nuisance which can be a difference maker in key games.
Of course you can.

I've laid out clearly how Lamela does to the team's benefit and how Holding tried it to his team's demise in a big game.

You can make little digs at a player, not get caught and wind up the opposition and make them uncomfortable or you can get caught, get a yellow and have to be careful the rest of the game.

For a prem-proven 25 year old with 48 EPL goals and a scoring rate of 1 in 3 for a woeful Everton side, I actually don’t think £50m is that steep.

If we can include Winks in the deal we’re absolutely laughing.

Not worried too much about the fee, if 60m is true then that would I’d imagine be with all add ons and bonuses included and if they’re reached he would be worth it

Just watched a compilation of his 50 Everton goals and was quite surprised. In my mind he was more of a Son-type wide forward who tends to cut in off the left, and while he can do that, at least half his goals were proper no.9 poacher type goals.

He scores absolutely tons of headers aswell, which I'd also forgotten. Absolute demon with his head.
It's another step to us remedying our lack of set piece goals you feel as well.

Eriksen whipping them in, we'll be a threat for sure and equally you have the likes of Perisic and Spence defensively who are both over 6ft it points at us being no pushovers in those winter away games.

He’s managed double figures 4 seasons in a row. Can play across a front 3 and showed his bottle to drag Everton out of the situation they were in last season. Only 25 and a full Brazilian international as well. £50mil sounds about right to me.

If the end justifies the means then it's nuanced shithousing.

Not really sure why you splitting hairs here, it'll be a benefit to us as a team.

Everton weren't always woeful. Finished 8th, 12th, 10th the last 3 seasons before this one.

50m is ridiculous money for Richarlison. We've been robbed if we pay that.

Shirley, you jest.

Conte is coming back for one reason - to win something. Not to finish 4th. To win.

That means we will be going strong in 4 competitions, and that means we will have plenty of meaningful minutes to pass out. It also means we need to keep our key players fresh for the long season - and being able to rotate Kane and Son with a player of Richarlison's capability means we have a chance to win those games.

I didn't clock the Winks link but can definitely see it being involved - perhaps indirectly and not as blatant as merely a swap plus cash but involved nevertheless.

Seems to be Paratici's MO

Versatile, still young, PL-proven, productive despite an awful Everton side and with numerous managers, Lamela-esque-trolling, usually pretty healthy, and maybe a sale of Winks and Bergwijn about covers the cost? Yeah, checks out.

He scored a lot in those seasons, too.

People need to realise that market values have changed.

Nobody of Richarlison’s stats, record, age and calibre is going to come cheaper.

Looking at his profile. 25 years old, performing well in the Prem, Brazilian international, attacker with 2 years left on his contract. That's a player who is going to cost £40m+.

The question is if he is worth it and if there's a better option elsewhere.

Unless we wait or his contract to run down and risk him going elsewhere, the price is the price.
