he scored 10 PL goals the whole season for goodness sake
For a terrible team who were down and out all season and he carried them to safety the last few weeks. On goal return mane only scored 20 goals over 2 seasons with southampton, but pool still took a punt on him as they knew what he offered.

besides goals, richarlison ranks in the top 10% of players who press, tackle etc from the front. He is exactly what conte wants in a player, besides goals.

Taking into account his versatility proven in the league and Everton's desperation I think this is the one we should be going for...

The dream of the Raphinha-Richarlison double deal keeps on building.

That said I'd be delighted if we secured at least one of them. Have a feeling we could be second choice for both.

Interestingly Chelsea were said to be viewing Raphinha as a possible RWB option. Conte has also mentioned Deki as an option there. I don't think either would be pushed over as first choice but could be a regular in game tactical option.

When you consider that and the 5 sub rule change you could imagine giving them all plenty of minutes.

We are not Real Madrid , 60 million pound players should be bought to improve the first team.
Ndombele says hi.

but seriously the arguement has always been that we have no back up for son and kane, and now that we are trying to resolve that it is too expensive!? Also what positions are glaringly in need of an upgrade in our first team? A lcb, well we have tried for a bastoni at 50million and that hasn’t come off. We need a new rb but short of getting a hakimi which i can’t see happening no way will we spend big there.

look at pool, they have diaz, jota, salah, firminho and now they have spent 80million on nunez as they know he will rotate with all them given the games that will be played. Getting a richarlison feasibly allows us to rest kane who cannot go on playing 50 odd games a season because we have no back up, same with son. Richarlison btw would not be my first choice, but he is young at 25 so has plenty of scope to progress, plus he is tried and tested in this league for 4/5years and can hack it, unlike a dud like ndombele where we spunked £60million, so he is low risk, despite the outlay.

Richarlison could be a fucking incredible physical presence at CF with a bit more coaching and discipline.

There's maybe one defender in the league who can both live with him in the air, in duels, and making runs in behind, and that's Virgil Van Dijk. If he learns a bit from Harry and Antonio about how to use his body in hold up play he would be close to unstoppable imo. Optimistic of course but I don't buy this whole 'finished article' thing, there's potential to unlock with him even now. He does not efficiently use all of his gifts.

The difference is their starting 11 was complete, ours is far from it.

I don’t see how we’re that far from it to be honest, RWB maybe but the only other first team spot is LCB and we’re gonna do well to find a player who will outperform Davies towards end of last season.
