They won’t be interested when the games finished
I think the rest period ahead of this game will have done him the world of good. With Aurier injured and KWP not trusted, Trippier has played more games than in any previous season with Spurs, on the back of an exhausting (mentally & physically) World Cup run.
It will be a tough game, especially if the player ahead of him doesn't do a good job of pinning Robertson back, but I'm anticipating the best performance we've seen from him in a long time. He showed at the World Cup that he doesn't crumble in big games.

Yeah, he seemed to thrive under the responsibility, he's said the rehab has been going well, I imagine crossing is difficult when your groin is in pain, I'm hopeful of a good performance. Probably his last game for spurs, let's get behind him regardless of what 99% of us want in the summer.

No idea what's changed with him. But he was terrible again today and it's the basics quite often. Weird one.

Mane had very little joy against him
Played a good cross to Dele which he fluffed

Decent performance, better than what he's served up most of the season

Sorry mate but it’s not a weird one at all. This is Kieren Trippier who was released from city’s academy and did well for ... Burnley!!! Poch has squeezed everything out of him but the guy is well out of his depth, this is the fucking champions league final, the pinnacle of football with right backs the level of: Cafu, Dani Alves etc usually playing, this guy kicked the ball off the pitch on 4 occasions, every time mane ran at him or pressed him he shit himself, he seems to try hard and have a good attitude but I’m sorry he’s simply not good enough for where we are trying to be, Kyle Walker is 10x the player trippier is, Trent AA is also miles ahead of him, so is Danny rose on the other side of us. Get rid ASAP. Only spurs player I ever regularly criticise because our full backs are vitally important to the way we play and attack and he’s not athletic or fast enough, he can’t dribble well, he’s an average at best defender, his decision making is poor and he’s just not good enough.

Trippier didn't do much wrong in that game, but equally Alexander Arnold showed with just a few whipped balls in how much of an advantage it is having a higher quality full back. If we're serious about competing next year, this is one position that definitely needs an upgrade (which we all already knew).

Yeah, the criticism for him for the final is weird and I can only imagine it's coming from people with an almost neurotic need to apportion blame. I thought he was actually decent. I can't really remember Mane causing us any problems down our right.

If we buy a top-quality RB, I'd be more than happy to keep Trippier as our 2nd choice RB.

He's a HG, England-capped player with PL experience and is settled in our squad.

That is, of course, assuming that Poch doesn't rate KWP or Aurier.

I thought Aurier and Sissoko did really well on that right side, when they played together, which was unfortunately only for a couple of games.
This might upset a few on here but Sissoko is starting to be as Injury prone as Dembele, he rarely finished a game. Aurier is always injured too, don't think we should go forward with these two as first choices personally.

Sissoko has literally played in every game possible for him, he’s always going to get injured if you can’t rotate, but Aurier ld happily replace

Agree. He’s a good back up RB and in truth should never have been more than that. Our problem is that we’re still yet to replace Walker!

How many times has Sissoko not finished a game due to injury? Twice Inc tonight?

Rarely finished a game lol!

Sissoko gets one knock on his knee and has to go off, it's getting to a point now where it's every game.
This is why strength in depth is so important. Given that ITK that Eriksen is likely to go, I can see us going for both Lo Celso and N’dombele so that rotation can be used strategically over a season rather than running players into the ground

we need to go for both for genuine upgrade regardless of eriksen leaving or not considering our CMs we have
