That pre-season game in Munich against Madrid seems a long time ago, but I was very much looking forward to him breaking through. Hope he does well and gets a good season under him.

I don't think he will ever make it with us, I took quite a lot of stick a couple of years back when I said he wouldn't ever be good enough and we should sell and I stand by that. I wish him all the best in Germany and hope they take up the buy option.

From Luton to Milan to Augsburg, what a rollercoaster that is.

Hope it goes through and he does well out there.

I thought €6m was the transfer fee which I thought was a bit lower than I'd hope, but to pay that just as a loan fee for one season?? Wow, not a bad deal at all

Thinking that may be the loan fee + obligatory purchase fee bundled together?

Might be a high loan fee and a lowish option fee? Encourages them to exercise the option but still gives them a way out if it doesn't work out (albeit it will have cost them 6m to have him for the season)

Has he played at all for them yet? Had a look on Wiki and Transfermarkt but couldn't find anything to indicate he had. Could well be back next summer at this rate....

Japhet Tanganga

Japhet Tanganga is still awaiting his first match for Bundesliga side Augsburg after joining them on loan with an option for the German outfit to buy him, which becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met.

The 24-year-old Spurs academy product arrived with a knee injury with some suggestions in Germany that he will return to action this month.

Finally available again, on the bench for Augsburg for the first time.
They've performed better than expected so far this season.

That's good news. His time here may be done, but would great for him to get back fit and get some minutes and secure a good move somewhere. I think in the championship or some European leagues he could be a key player for someone
