Leicester are just another Blackburn at the end of the day. They spent big and won the big one. That's all well and good but look where they are back again now. We're a consistent top 6 club most seasons and have been for many years. One of the the teams that's been in this league since it became Premier. Its a big step up for Maddison and I really hope he elevates his game. He could be a player who Ange gets the best out of but also just by having better players around him he'll do better.

You are quick to judge. You said his friend beat someone up. So, I googled it. The guy was found not guilty, as it was deemed an act of self defence. Again, you have picked 2 instances and used it to frame what you think about him. Everyone makes mistakes, you and I included.

I believe what happened next was that the bloke hit the deck and Cadby was shouting at him: "Get up, get on up"

Maddison, Bentancur and Bissouma are the perfect midfield three on paper. Let's hope.
I love a midfield where all three can score, create and defend to varying levels. So much less predictable because they can’t just double up on one creative player

Slightly amazed he doesn’t have more England caps. Was amazed it’s only 3
In fairness there's some strong competition for AM slots from guys like Mount and Foden. But yeah, it seems as though Southgate hasn't taken to him for some reason. Maybe a little too opinionated for Gareth's liking?

They broke FFP in the Championship and would have been sanctioned had they not got promoted.
Yep, and while they may have not spent at Chelsea levels of crazy, they spent way beyond their means and stuck themselves in an unsustainable position.

They did in comparison to their income.
Not on the levels of the likes of Chelsea and arsenal but still way more than they should have for a club of their size/income.
It was a comparative big spend.

The season they won the title their net spend was £20m. That is not big in any sense of the word.

He’s a very good player but definitely a grade A cock, I remember a story about his mates beating some poor sod up cause he didn’t know who Maddison was. I’m glad we have him, but my opinion of him won’t change just cause he is our player but I don’t get player idolisation though to be fair. They are simply employees of my club.
I know he‘s got a reputation, but have you seen him interviewed? He actually comes across well and much smarter than the average footballer.

Yeah but it's not about net spend in one season though, it's about the seasons before and after that, along with the wages they were paying compared to their turnover.
No matter how you try to frame it, Leicester have spent big because they've spent well beyond their means over a few years.
