Well if that's the case, really not sure about this guy because he seems to push a lot of his saves into really dangerous areas and generally just looks pretty awkward

Haven't seen any video, but I bet if he pushes shots out to an opponents the video cuts before it gets buried in the net.

Here's one example, yes he pulls off two great saves after, but what the hell is he doing with that first save? Seems like he does that sort of thing a lot...

I dont see anything wrong there - Shot is hit with significant power. Most keeper would do the same thing.
I wouldnt look at one odd action and generalise it.

My point was in the compilation I watched he did this a lot, parrying shots into dangerous areas

Update from Di Marzio:
Guglielmo Vicario is getting closer and closer to Tottenham. Spurs and Empoli have in fact an agreement in principle for 20 million plus bonuses. The Tuscan club is waiting for a written offer between tonight and tomorrow morning and then accept it.

I wouldnt determine anything from compilations. But then, I have now watched few of his, I dont see the flaw you say. Only trait I pick is, he really makes himself big when he doesnt know which way shot is going to be taken...so some of his incredible saves are with his feet.

For me, its more important to see how he is distribution wise. How he comes out for corners & free kicks . Thats where GK earn their money in PL

For now, he is as good or if not better shot stopper we have been linked with

What's he like with the ball at his feet?

If he's a good shot-stopper but poor with the ball then it's just going to be another Hugo situation.

Just watching some clips...

This triple save... (y)

Actually that video perfectly shows my slight worry about him. Looking at his highlights he has a high tendency to push the ball back into a dangerous area. While this triple save is impressive it should have never reached the point where he had to make it.

The first shot is not a particularly difficult one and if he cant catch it he needs to push it to safety not straight back out. It seems to be a pattern.

Maybe he can be coached out of it, still a young keeper and maybe his other qualities make up for it. But it's a worrying part of his game.

Does anybody know if he’s good with his feet? This is absolutely key with Ange coming in…

In fairness, Ange had Joe Hart as his goalkeeper who is shocking with his feet :D

But yeah take your point, we definitely need a goalkeeper who is capable of playing out from the back.

If he can’t play from the back, then honestly I don’t see the point in signing him.

Let’s just 🙏 that Ange gave his approval …

This is why we never win anything. Constantly moving down the list on our targets. I mean who the hell is this guy.

He might turn out great but it's another massive gamble.
