Tottenham, confirmed interest in Vicario: the situation

The rumors of the last few hours have been confirmed: Tottenham are interested in Vicario

Guglielmo Vicario was undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers of the last Serie A season. The number 13, with Empoli, stood out for his prodigious saves which often contributed to saving his team's result during the championship just concluded. It is no coincidence that Inter , above all, and Fiorentina have shown great interest in the class of '96 .

Furthermore, in the last few hours, the rumors of an interest from Tottenham , a Premier League club , have intensified . Indiscretions which, according to our sources, are confirmed. The Spurs , therefore, are really interested in Vicario: to understand if the negotiation can be unlocked quickly. However, the London club are negotiating David Raya from Brentford, who is currently the first choice for goal.

The, "hey David, make a huge scene to drive down your price, we promise we won't still go with the cheaper option and that you won't burn the bridge that bad. Oh Saido Berahino, don't even know who you're talking about, don't worry that totally couldn't happen to you.

Best, Daniel COYS"

Wish there were more compilations around things like dealing with crosses under pressure, ball at feet, general handling etc. most goalkeepers at this level are decent shot stoppers but can’t tell much from these videos because they are built around saves.
Couple that I’ve seen he has been ok but a few times the ball just hits him, or he has pushed it out in an area that isn’t great

Yeah so true.

Just watched the save comps from this season of Vicario, Raya and the Japanese Georgian lad and based on those alone Vicario looks the most impressive to me but he might be rubbish in other areas.

Just don't know. You almost needed a companion goals-conceded compilation too...and a passing one.

Didnt know he existed until yesterday. One drawback of no longer playing football manager any more. Expecting detailed analysis from those that do!

That's the trouble with compilations. They only show the good stuff.

Well if that's the case, really not sure about this guy because he seems to push a lot of his saves into really dangerous areas and generally just looks pretty awkward

Lot of people think you can tell more about a gk by watching the goals he gives up than by the saves he makes. Compilations are tough in that regard bc they're never going to show the goals let in.

Looks like Paratici mate's putting the pressure on Brentford now...
I am still convinced we will end up with Raya.
